- Quite a long video this one!
I know there is more that one way to do this system but this is what I was taught and do. Gives good results. The K rend Silicone FT is one of the harder top coats to apply but is well worth it as it repels the water and is less likely to stain. It also looks great. Here is my method which hopefully helps someone looking to do these rendering systems.
well done MIKE and thank you for the video.
Nice one Mike.👌👏 Beats skimming every day.💯
Nice job mate but if you do two passes straight away wet on wet then you don't have too worry about flattening or trying too keep enough thickness for your second pass. Also you won't have too worry about scraping back too first pass. I would personally have another spread with me going behind ruling I have done smaller areas on my own but just too be sure if have someone incase I start too loose it but still nice job also pain getting shut lines k rend is simple but can go wrong I think you would agree lol
Enjoyed that one Mike!!
Nice Job Mike.
Hi does that finish hold dirt becuse of finish with that steel float..is not acrylic smoother or whats the differerence and best..looks great finish.
Tidy job mate👌🏻
On the 2nd scrape with the ibar are you scraping it all the wayback to the beads?
Did you knock it up twice I always mix it then leave it for 20mins then re mix goes really creamy
How comes no primer? 😊
I try too 2nd pass before nit skins up. Just what I find easier
Who taught you how to get a trowel full of material off your handboard like that?
Is that silicone ?. Isn't it monocouche
what sized beads ya working to here
Who scrapes fascia and soffit like that nice few scrapes on there . Just tape it up ffs
Such a lot of cleaning up to do after all the scraping. Not good to do on a windy day I bet.
