My favorite boss is the one before Greedy, Eyebar-555, a one-eyed snake-like machine piloted by Ionis. I like the design of the robot itself and how you have to be nigh-constantly on your guard, that made it fun for me. Strategy for Awaueck because I got bored! Face the entrance while under the podium so you won't get flung away, once he's knocked off, follow him as he rolls to tbe other side of the screen. Attack him just as he gets up, and then attack upwards once he's midair. If he does his feathers attack, go back underneath the podium face the arena entrance, and keep headbutting until they are gone, (you don't take damage headbutting things). If he slams onto the ground so dodge aside and hit him right after. If he divebombs, jump out of the way, then hit him. It's easy this way. (Also watch out for the colorful dust, it's falling debris after he does the attack that slams straight down. Also you go underneath the podium then headbutt because you don't get knocked away facing the entrance, you only get flung back into the podium so you can headbutt quickly , repeatedly.
To avoid 6:13 like a boss let ristar grab the snow monsters foot when you grab you get invincebility frames and when you do it you need to be facing the way you started the boss when you time it just right it makes you feel like a frigen boss
So lemme get this straight when it comes to the boss descriptions: Riho is a monkey, Ohsat is a hammerhead shark, Adahan is an armored mole, Awaueck is a giant crow-like bird, Itamor is a giant gelatinous blob (where, in the Japanese version of the game, he’s a massive fortune cat), and Uranim is a hulking robotic killing machine (literally).

Why was Ristar’s expression changed in western versions Is it because it makes more sense to give a cute character a serious expression during a crisis
Probably, but it was a common trend back then for video games from overseas to have their graphics or boxart altered to look more serious for US audiences.
Like you normally would: Hit him. The problem is he tends to be very high up & he also teleports to random parts of his arena, so take a wild guess at where he’s going to be. He’ll also shoot lightning from the palm of his hand from above, so hit him from below. He gives NO color indication like the other bosses at all.
@@AlastorAltruistGaming another easy way to beat him is to attack him right when he gets in the position to summon a black hole yet before he does it you gotta be fast, and for the laser, attack as soon as you see him repeatedly raising his arms. That's how I -finally- beat him.
I had *no* idea you could hurt Riho from the king's back. Holy cow.
never occurred to me to try that, out of the 9 years i’ve known this game.
Lol
I’ve done it before

TIL. Grew up playing this game as a kid and still learning new things about it lol.
My subtitles for these bosses:
Riho - Mind-Mangling Monkey
Ohsat - Sinister Swimming Shark
Adahan - Massive Mechanical Mole
Awaueck - Crazy Cacophonic Condor
Itamor - Fearsome Frigid Foe
Uranim - Cranium-Challenged Cyborg
Inonis - Simpering Squid Scientist
Kaiser Greedy - Egotistical Evil Emperor
Nice! I like the alliteration.
+QuadFactor Thank you.
FlyingDuckMan360 Those Boss Subtitles sound like they belong in Banjo-Kazooie/ Banjo-Tooie.
+Callum Sparrow Banjo-Tooie, the second game in the series, was the inspiration for my subtitles.

@Ultimate Gamer: Yes or serious.
The final boss almost feels like a *warm-up* for the final boss of *Sonic mania* if you compare all the bosses of both games. *They are all great!*
Uranim is doing a fireball move from Ryu.
Is that a street fighter reference?

My favorite is uranim
@@Blooper123vr Uranim's my second favorite and the only boss I've made a character ai bot of so far!

Yep, that pretty much sums it up.
Someone needs to shoe the boss theme according to Awaueck.
Riho looks fine until that weird thing starts puppet controlling him. And that "Play with me" thing Ristar says is not creepy at all...
Actually, Riho IS the puppet, he his controlling the planet elder of Flora.
Ah, that makes sense, I need to play in my mega drive more often, more Ristar, more Dynamite Headdy.
The “Play with me” line is more referencing the game imagine you're bored and someone's helping you on your journey.
I swear to God, this game had a boss that losses its balance and flailed it's arms every time Ristar head-butt it... I guess it isn't in this game.
I think the enemy you're referring to is the giant blue and yellow robot that is in Lock Up!! (Round 6-2). Its not a boss or a miniboss.
QuadFactor Ah. Thanks.
Yeah warning
@@QuadFactor21 u can only hit him when his foot is up and he's called needle handed gaurd

We live in a world where being too good at a game prevents you from hearing the best part of a boss theme.
At least he hit him exactly on the beat
I am still With no words cause some of the ristar sounds are actully from Sonic the hedgehog 3, and Sonic & Knuckles

Wat do u mean by that
@@withoutleo Mega Man games always have a boss rush near the end.

This game has a boss rush accessable through cheats.
Uranim is my second favorite boss after itamor
I can't pronounce awuaek when I do it sounds like someone about to throw up
Ohsat be like: auaudghsjsgagaghhhhuuuaagaggah when Ristar survived lol
Ryu taught Uranium power well.
anyone notices that when he headbuts a flying boss or enemy he looks like he's headbutting their "under" part.
