    Hokkaido Travel Vlog:
In this travel vlog, we're sharing more of our time in Hokkaido: the hidden gems of Biei, the vibrant allure of Furano, the colorful Tomita Farm, and the captivating charm of Sapporo city at night. We loved Hokkaido's breathtaking vistas and immersed ourselves in its rich culture.
Our journey began in the heart of Hokkaido, with its rolling hills, vibrant flower fields, and serene atmosphere. Biei was a haven for nature lovers (AKA. me) and photographers (not me "professionally" but definitely me hobby-wise).
Blue Pond was lovely: a mystical body of crazy blue water. I wanted to drink it. LOL. Super blue. Super beautiful. It was the only "real" attraction there, but it was lovely nevertheless.
We ventured to the lively town of Furano, famous for its vivid landscapes and warm-hearted locals. The vibrant flower fields of Furano painted the landscape with a kaleidoscope of colors, creating an awe-inspiring panorama. I was literally a kid in a candy shop!!!
We explored the Lavender Farm, where the smell of lavender filled the air. We tried lavender coffee (which was super underwhelming) - but an experience regardless.
Our journey wouldn't have been complete without a visit to the world-renowned Tomita Farm. This kaleidoscopic paradise was a symphony of colors, with fields of lavender, sunflowers, and other blossoms everywhere. I hope you guys can feel like you're actually there with us!
We couldn't miss the opportunity to explore the quaint coastal town of Otaru. With its historic architecture, charming canals, and a touch of old-world elegance, Otaru offered a unique contrast to the natural wonders we had already experienced. Strolling through its narrow streets lined with brick buildings and gas lamps, we felt transported back in time.
One of the highlights of our Otaru visit was the crazy boat ride to the Blue Cave. The waves were wild and untamed, there was thunder and lightning and we thought the boat would capsize mulitple times. The experienced captain skillfully navigated through the turbulent waters. The waves crashed against the rugged cliffs. Our anticipation grew as we entered the cave.
Inside the cave, the storm's energy took on a new dimension. The echoes of crashing waves reverberated off the walls, creating a symphony of nature's might. The boat gently bobbed with the currents, reminding us of our vulnerability in the face of the elements. Despite the adrenaline coursing through our veins, there was a sense of awe and reverence for the forces that shaped this extraordinary seascape.
Our stormy boat ride to the Blue Cave was wild but awesome. It really encapsulated the untamed beauty of Hokkaido's coast. As we emerged from the cave, drenched, the storm seemed to subside, leaving us with a newfound appreciation for life (LOL but seriously). This unique experience in Otaru is a testament to the thrill of embracing the unknown and surrendering to the power of the elements.
We dried off and made our way to Sapporo city, which transformed into a bustling metropolis illuminated by hundreds of neon signs and bustling energy & indulged in soup curry again (obsessed).
From the tranquil landscapes of Biei and the lively charm of Furano to the breathtaking beauty of Tomita Farm and the vibrant energy of Sapporo city at night, each chapter of this travel vlog was a testament to Hokkaido's diverse and captivating allure.

Yes the farms were breathtaking... Reminded me a bit of my grandma's home town in South Korea. That'll hopefully be one of my next long trips!

Thank you for watching! 🥰 Yes of course. There are so many incredible child-friendly places, perfect for families.
Hokkaido is quite big - so it really depends on where you'd like to go - but I would definitely recommend Furano (Tomito Farm + all the beautiful flower fields) - they have beautiful petting zoos 🌻

The zoo + botanical gardens are also a lot of fun there - even as adults, we'll never get sick of visiting the zoo + botanical gardens. We didn't get to go, but Odori Park seems to have a few great reviews too. I hope this helps!
