Welcome to our Langkawi Travel Vlog! The vlog I put off posting for almost 6 months now (hehe).
Langkawi was the summer holiday destination we had never heard of and took a gamble to experience. I gotta tell you - we do not regret it… It was a beautiful hidden gem, made of a cluster of 99 islands, off the mainland of Malaysia.
We spend the last few days of 2023 in Singapore and India, and headed to Langkawi on New Years Eve, and started 2024 in this gorgeous tropical island.

We spent our New Year in style on the stunning beaches of Langkawi, Malaysia. From mesmerising fireworks (that were CRAZY close to us) to exploring the fun street food stalls and thrilling water sports, this vlog captures the essence of our unforgettable summer holiday.
🎆 New Year's Eve Fireworks: We watched in awe as the sky exploded with crazy colour during Langkawi's spectacular New Year's Eve fireworks display. We’d never experienced fireworks THAT close! So many fireworks were being set off from all around us, we didn’t know where to look. Our prime spot on the beach offered front-row seats to the dazzling celebration - we lay on the sand for a while and felt like teenagers again.
🍜 Street Food and snacks: We had fun walking around the vibrant world of Langkawi's street food stalls. From sizzling satay to aromatic laksa, we taste our way through the bustling markets - and also fell in love with bingsoo again. It was so hot - bingsoo was a must! P.S. Shout out to the chef at the Kebab Shop who gave us a full show, you are amazing. I hope you find this video one day.
🚤 Jet Skiing with Mega Sports: One of my favourite parts of our summer holiday in Langkawi was Jet skiing for the first time! We got our adrenaline pumping as we hit the waves with Mega Sports for an exhilarating jet skiing experience. It was truly unreal. Feeling the wind in our hair and the spray of the sea as we explored the crystal-clear waters surrounding Langkawi. Jetskiing meant we could explore the untouched and more hidden islands of Langkawi - which was very special.
🚣♂️ Kayaking in the Geo forest: On our last day, we immerse ourselves in the natural beauty of Langkawi's Geo forest as we embark on a kayaking adventure. We paddled through lush mangroves, hidden lagoons, and ancient limestone formations, encountering breathtaking scenery at every twist and turn. We got a short but special tour of one of the caves where we could see these tiny little beautiful bats sleeping. We were careful not to wake or disturb any of them.
