Christmas trees! I forgot to metion christmas trees as an option for a shelter hedge. Great to see the new building coming along. Keep up the good work young man. I wish I had a farm so I make do with working for farmers regularly, doing all sorts of jobs. All the best for Christmas and new year!

The reason Farmer Phil, Gerry6420 and Farmer P are so successful, is the same reason why you will also grow your following here on TH-cam - they are very likeable, down-to-earth guys that people find interesting. Whilst the editing etc. is also quite important(and you've got that mastered!), people are drawn in by content and likeability/relatability - and you've got it, like the other lads, without even realising it. So when you get to the million subscribers, and are baling around in yer brand new sponsored Massey 8700S, don't forget we knew ya when ya didn't even have cow in that shed!!!

You won't get away with cutting the top off the crush gate won't work ! You'll have to make a hole in the wall for it 👍
We can take of nearly 3'' of the top guard without touching the mechanics of the gate, seen it done on another farm and it worked perfectly .

Can I ask why you put that shed on the away farm and not in the home place? Having it at home would cut out all that travelling back and forth over the winter. Really enjoyed these videos on the shed, by the way.
Have a look through the first few parts and all is explained. Basically having slurry storage and handling yard alone is a massive plus on an out farm

Very bad head gate waste of time putting on get you killed is all it would do worst gate ever
Its the most common gate used, we never used that type of one before but it was recommend by alot of people, can you explain the downsides of it as i would be intersted?

Strong enough frame to the gate to be fair. The hinges are very weak and bad design. Can be hard to let cattle out when they are pulling or pushing against it. Had to weld little bits onto the hinges as the stretched and cracked. Never had any bother with anything stuck in it, just set the width right. Local vet for testing says there the worst yoke that glanbia ever got in. Should be A1 for quite friesians.
I've just discovered your channel love your videos I'm a small need farmer from CO Armagh getting the beef herd built up I used to have sucklers but I had to sell them just wasn't enough money in them so now just reading beef

Grand vid again Adrian. What make o new tractor is it your gettin next year? Mind ya speakin about gettin a loader tractor
Were not sure just yet, we may now keep the 6470 and replace the case with a 6618 or something similar, we can put the loader on the 64
IFarm WeFarm personally I would say swap the case for a drop nose Massey as they are mint with the loader plus the 5713s is around about the same horsepower as the 64 in a 3 cylinder form

Thank you, i watch all those channels also. Theres bound to be more irish channels out there but i haven't really investigated enough to find them.
Lovly shed ,well taught out great comfort in a good set up,better than pulling and dragging gates and tieing up with twines 🤣 whatever enterprise ya run.
Adrian Boyle we are tieing up gates at the min until we get this generator an get the welder out to properly hand all the gates, but I know what u mean, there’s people that love there baler twine 😂😂
