I stopped watching Lydia a long time ago... There was just something about her that was so pretentious and fake. I'm not surprised this happened 🙄🙄🙄. I'm sorry u had to go through this.
Such a coincidence I came across this video... I decided to unfollow LEM last week as I could see after watching her vlogs for over a year that she is not a good person deep down: something about her screams no compassion, no generosity, vain, self-absorbed and clearly manipulative with good people surrounding her... Also she has a clear disdain for her followers as she keeps on asking comments about her vlogs but then keeps on criticising feedback from her followers. Definitely night and day with Victoria who I love to follow: she seems a truly generous human and is much better on fashion compared to LEM...
LEM tries to be a copy of Victoria but fails miserably. I remember when Victoria brought her new puppy home....the first thing I thought was LEM will follow suit now. Yep low behold she gets a little cute sausage dog. I cant take the I’m suddenly a “horticulturist” phase seriously. And the constant changes to her home. Obviously this generates an income for her with all the video uploads but it’s just gotten beyond boring now. I used to love watching her videos but now I just scroll past.
In the Frow is a different league. Comes across genuine and quite frankly, lovely! There’s been a huge shift in Lydia last year or two and not for the good.
Victoria also makes light of important things on her Instagram, not just house renovations and make up! She shares posts about BLM, Breonna Taylor, Sarah Everard and more
She is absolutely a pretentious snob who thinks she’s better than others. Her entire channel Is hauls. unboxings, how much I have, what we are redoing for the third time, etc. Boring! I’m honestly surprised any brands still work with her - they need to get out now before they get a bad reputation with her. Her brand failed and she can’t handle it. Karma will get you every time! Sorry you had to deal with her and her attitude-your son is adorable!
I still watch her vlogs (just bc i'm noisy persone😊😅) But sinds she moved to her house (not Ali & her's) but her house she's very very pretentius. I remember that i comment on a video when she reveald her livingroom for 1st time and she had the 3 glass sidetables with on each 1 lamp (3x the same) , so i comment that "this looks of take the 1 between the 1 seaters away and it would look 10x better and chic " 2 video's later " i disided to take this middle one away ' Now instad of saying 1 of my followers commented that and after a look i agree" no she acts like it was her idea, Saw it with other comments too from others (and those were'nt 10 different ones from 10 different people) You know? Honestly- even if she did somehow damaged her hair or destroyed color (but based on photos I don’t think she did) - what kind of person doesn’t have a filter to calm down and not bully pregnant woman. I am stunned that the whole "incident" is about hair!!!!! Seriously??? I saw a video in which Millen was talking about something that could have derailed her career and being gaslighted. From the way she described the goings-on, I thought that she had been abused or her confidentiality betrayed by a therapist/doctor. If this whole thing stems from a hairstyle or appointment that went awry but was fixable, then I am disappointed. I am very sorry that you, Nicky, felt ganged up on and bullied. I believe that a good bit of LEM's alleged behavior has much more to do with things that are in the background. I am new to you both. However, I really do not want to think that an adult would lose control to such an extent that an assistant would need to be called for backup over the color, cut or style of hair. To be clear, I can understand being peeved, if my hair was totally jacked up beyond repair but even then I would need to work with the stylist to find a solution that makes sense. Bottom line: if hair is your passion, please do not allow this one experience to take you off task. Don't deprive others of your gift.
I'm sure there was much more to this incident than you feel able to tell us. I watched that video she made and thought she had been physically threaten or attacked by the way she spoke about "the incident" and played the victim. And I remember feeling at the time that something didn't ring true, but couldn't put my finger on it. Now that I've seen your video on what really happened I am compelled to wholly believe you. Not ever having known about you or seen your social media platforms before , until now after watching this video, I get a warm, heartfelt, genuine feeling about you and that is not something I can always say about the other person. I'm sorry you had to endure this bully and her cronies trying to intimate you. This definitely confirms what I have seen about her just from her videos. She comes across as entitled, narcissistic, and very much like an elitist. These types of traits cause people to behave inappropriately, rude and even abusive to others. She does also seem to have some serious mental issues as she exhibits anxiety, depression, narcissistsim, and a lack of accountability. If she is suffering from some kind of mental health issues than she needs to get a handle on that, get help and not allow her issues to cause her to act out against people on social media or let these issues come through on her videos or other social media. I'm so sorry this happened to you. It is absolutely unacceptable to slander someone's business just because she didn't like the color. That is very fixable. You can't destroy someone's business over something like this. Not sure of UK laws but in the US it's called defamation and you can sue someone for it. I'm not sure what exactly is wrong with Lydia but something is. I find it ironic that she has asked recently in a few videos for people to be kind in the comments and that her team now reads her comments. She basically has disassociated herself from all the justified negativity which shows a serious lack of accountability. Randomly stumbled upon this video while watching Lydia's videos (who I'm subscribed to) and wow, this is very surprising. I enjoy her content but I now look at her in a whole new light now after seeing this video about her appalling behavior. This needs more views. Lydia seemed like such a nice lady to me. Privileged, but very cognizant of her privilege and was aware (or so I thought) that her wealth and popularity doesn't mean she's better than the next person just because said person has less than her. Clearly Lydia is not as genuine and nice as I thought.
So sorry you went through all of this days away from giving birth. The crazy thing is that the hair actually looked gorgeous, you did an amazing job. Maybe what was going on in her head was being projected onto you. Hopefully she is able to seek help and take some time out.

I myself started feeling like something wasn't right with her well over a year ago and stop watching her vlogs. This video is eye opening. I hate being disappointed in people but I definitely feel that way now. Especially since Lydia always talks about women empowering each other and then does this to a heavily pregnant one? I didn't pay much attention to the topic before I saw this video because I had no idea what she was talking about when she went on and on about her hair having been damaged and how long it took to fix it. But she was definitely most worried about the damage done to her hair and not to the lady whom she tried to cancel. I'd give her the benefit of the doubt if I saw remorse but to this day, she still sometimes talks about that awful experience which I know a lot more about now. Sad.

You are so right . I used to watch her vlogs , but mostly as a guilty pleasure, since I could never afford her lifestyle, but something was always off . I thought it was just me. I'm glad to see that other people have noticed that when Lydia is in Ali videos she seems like a completely different person. She seems very annoyed and bothered that she has to appear with him sometimes. The energy is completely different. Even her voice doesn't sound the same I've also noticed something that always seemed kind of strange to me in the way that she describes her surroundings. She always refers to the house as... "her house", "her kitchen", "her bedroom", "her living room.. She never says "our" home. I'm an American and thought maybe that's just a British thing. I'm sure she makes a lot more money off of TH-cam that he does considering her followers are a lot more vast but it still seems a little emasculating to never include him the way she does.

She asks for advice or opinions in the comments, then when someone tries give her constructive advice she gets all passive aggressive and even told people that did not even insult her that “there’s the door” or deleted comments. People don’t get at her for no reason, there are whole forums about her from people that saw that different Lydia, when she couldn’t or didn’t want to fake the “kind” Lydia anymore like In Ali’s videos. There are also people who had direct interactions with her who also saw how different she is in real life.

Lydia's shown us she is guilty of this...no video since the 8th, not showing her face on Instagram. I am so sick and tired of certain people who think they can bully someone because they are rich or think they are something. Her career is finished in my opinion, I cannot see how she will come back from this, but my hubby said, if she is a narcissist, she will say ANYTHING to justify what she did. I disagree with Lydia copying Josie since Lydia styled her closet and home before Josie even bought her home. Now they have similar styles since Josiemoved to the country but not the same.

I've just watched back to when Lydia & Carrie had their 1st hair appointments with you, they were both so happy with the end results. Their hair looked amazing,! What on earth happened after that I'm unclear off. But to cause you so much upset so close to your due date is completely unforgivable. I'm so disappointed in not only Lydia 's but Carrie's behavour. theres two sides to the story. while nicky shared her story in more detail, we dont know what was lydias story, as she was pretty vague about it. we dont know if something happened in those inbetween times, that nicky isnt telling and if lydia isnt haring more. not defending anyones actions but just a reminder as you seem so sure and straight up to judge her if she was your own daughter. if she was you could probably be furious etc. but theres always two sides to the story, and the truth. unless nicky releases cctv footage we wont know what happened. probably then wouldnt know what happened between lydia being happy with her hair and then allegedly storming in and being unreasonable.
I unsubscribed to Lydia probably 6 months ago. I think something is wrong with her. She is so unhappy and doesn’t know how to deal with her unhappiness. Has anyone noticed how she is never satisfied. Time is precious and we should be more selective on who we spend our time on. I randomly came across this video and 100% believe everything that has come out of this poor women’s mouth. Lydia has been through a rough time aswell. Her nose injections, breast surgeries, teeth --- I said some horrible things then had a 're check about my own life- realised something about myself and deleted my comments. Then recently saw her old videos about her journey, her pet gone missing forever, Ali not speaking to her so much other stuff. I am not sure if she has had her uterus taken out/ not. / cancer . There are things many don't know and she will take to her grave. Perhaps she was sexually assaulted at the meetings. Who knows. However treating Rebecca the hairdresser that was not right. Again: Lydia is and has always been an insecure narcissistic. Now she's into "Status" stuff (Hermes, for example) and she is uncomfortable with herself. She's promoting how "honest and transparent) she is just in the last few weeks, example her breast surgery. However she is having her dressing room repainted, her husband's office repainted, the crown molding in the living room repainted and whatever else. I find when she laughs, often she is more nervous than anything. Now everything has to be green. And I keep thinking, Lord, how soon will she change her mind on that. Are pale green nails attractive? And the other thing is she always days "WE" want this change, we want a black living room etc. Ali seems so down to earth. I can't believe he lies awake at night worried about paint chips! I'd heard she had bullied a hairdresser, but didn't know many details. This young mother seems very heartfelt and absolutely should speak out. It's sad how Lydia projected her own unhappiness on this person. Rather than buying McQueen belts, Hermes etc. Lydia should invest in a good psychotherapist. Life is to short.

I’m so disappointed with LEM and really feel for you. People on social media become successful because they are relatable and likeable, then over time and with success become too “elite” for the likes of their so called followers.
I never followed her although I did watch some of her vids because of my sister and then I kept getting her vids recommended on TH-cam but never followed her on any platform because I found her and her content boring and something about her felt off to me. If she can do something like that to a 9 month pregnant woman and still to this day bash her then she’s heartless and obviously unstable. No amount of pretty and expensive things can hide her cruel nature. Maybe she’s envious she doesn’t have kids of her own and made someone who’s pregnant is her target. There’s no justifying her actions. This lady seems sweet but if there’s video footage it needs to be released if Lydia keeps up this behavior.

If somebody does your hair in a way that you don't like then why would you go back? (not for one minute am I suggesting her hair was ruined, it looked gorgeous). Regardless of the "mean girl" we are all now hearing about...Lydia's hair always looks gorgeous. As with most people, this has happened to me quite a few times. l went somewhere new to get a fix. If I wasn't happy the first time, then why would I go back? Hair grows. I am not confrontational at all which is why I just chalked it down to experience. Also, sometimes it is just different from how you thought in your head your hair would turn out. Can't believe I am actually writing about this....I think I am just really, really surprised and shocked by her bahaviour.
at least in my country if you get your hair done in place x and you are not happy and can point out the reason (not just vaguely say i dont like it), for example uneven coloring or something, you go back to the place x and they fix it free of charge. idk how things are done in the uk but at least for me when i went to get highlights and they were done badly i went back and they fixed it for me.

Everyone should take a deep breath and realize there are always two sides to every story. Perhaps Lydia did get upset, but she makes a living in the beauty industry and her appearance is extremely important since that is part of her craft. Frankly, I have never heard of a hair process that would take a number of cleanings before the "true" color presents itself. That seems to be a poor excuse for trying to cover for a coloring mistake. Baby, or no baby, that shouldn't even enter the discussion. This whole incident would have been better unsaid and left out of the public forum.

Such a coincidence I came across this video... I decided to unfollow LEM last week as I could see after watching her vlogs for over a year that she is not a good person deep down: something about her screams no compassion, no generosity, vain, self-absorbed and clearly manipulative with good people surrounding her... Also she has a clear disdain for her followers as she keeps on asking comments about her vlogs but then keeps on criticising feedback from her followers. Definitely night and day with Victoria who I love to follow: she seems a truly generous human and is much better on fashion compared to LEM...
LEM tries to be a copy of Victoria but fails miserably. I remember when Victoria brought her new puppy home....the first thing I thought was LEM will follow suit now. Yep low behold she gets a little cute sausage dog. I cant take the I’m suddenly a “horticulturist” phase seriously. And the constant changes to her home. Obviously this generates an income for her with all the video uploads but it’s just gotten beyond boring now. I used to love watching her videos but now I just scroll past.

I am stunned that the whole "incident" is about hair!!!!! Seriously??? I saw a video in which Millen was talking about something that could have derailed her career and being gaslighted. From the way she described the goings-on, I thought that she had been abused or her confidentiality betrayed by a therapist/doctor. If this whole thing stems from a hairstyle or appointment that went awry but was fixable, then I am disappointed. I am very sorry that you, Nicky, felt ganged up on and bullied. I believe that a good bit of LEM's alleged behavior has much more to do with things that are in the background. I am new to you both. However, I really do not want to think that an adult would lose control to such an extent that an assistant would need to be called for backup over the color, cut or style of hair. To be clear, I can understand being peeved, if my hair was totally jacked up beyond repair but even then I would need to work with the stylist to find a solution that makes sense. Bottom line: if hair is your passion, please do not allow this one experience to take you off task. Don't deprive others of your gift.

I watched that video she made and thought she had been physically threaten or attacked by the way she spoke about "the incident" and played the victim. This definitely confirms what I have seen about her just from her videos. She comes across as entitled, narcissistic, and very much like an elitist. These types of traits cause people to behave inappropriately, rude and even abusive to others. She does also seem to have some serious mental issues as she exhibits anxiety, depression, narcissistsim, and a lack of accountability. If she is suffering from some kind of mental health issues than she needs to get a handle on that, get help and not allow her issues to cause her to act out against people on social media or let these issues come through on her videos or other social media. I'm so sorry this happened to you. It is absolutely unacceptable to slander someone's business just because she didn't like the color. That is very fixable. You can't destroy someone's business over something like this. Not sure of UK laws but in the US it's called defamation and you can sue someone for it. I'm not sure what exactly is wrong with Lydia but something is. I find it ironic that she has asked recently in a few videos for people to be kind in the comments and that her team now reads her comments. She basically has disassociated herself from all the justified negativity which shows a serious lack of accountability. Randomly stumbled upon this video while watching Lydia's videos (who I'm subscribed to) and wow, this is very surprising. I enjoy her content but I now look at her in a whole new light now after seeing this video about her appalling behavior. This needs more views. Lydia seemed like such a nice lady to me. Privileged, but very cognizant of her privilege and was aware (or so I thought) that her wealth and popularity doesn't mean she's better than the next person just because said person has less than her. I was so confused when I saw this video lol I thought I was watching LEM’s channel but then I thought she would never give this much time to someone else. I used to follow her too in her earlier vlogs she seemed nice and genuine but over time she gave off an unauthentic vibe and so materialistic and her last video felt like she was having a sit down with her viewers to reprimand us I unfollowed after that .... do love Ali though poor chap!

I myself started feeling like something wasn't right with her well over a year ago and stop watching her vlogs. This video is eye opening. I hate being disappointed in people but I definitely feel that way now. Especially since Lydia always talks about women empowering each other and then does this to a heavily pregnant one? I didn't pay much attention to the topic before I saw this video because I had no idea what she was talking about when she went on and on about her hair having been damaged and how long it took to fix it. But she was definitely most worried about the damage done to her hair and not to the lady whom she tried to cancel. I'd give her the benefit of the doubt if I saw remorse but to this day, she still sometimes talks about that awful experience which I know a lot more about now. Sad.

She asks for advice or opinions in the comments, then when someone tries give her constructive advice she gets all passive aggressive and even told people that did not even insult her that “there’s the door” or deleted comments. People don’t get at her for no reason, there are whole forums about her from people that saw that different Lydia, when she couldn’t or didn’t want to fake the “kind” Lydia anymore like In Ali’s videos. There are also people who had direct interactions with her who also saw how different she is in real life.

theres two sides to the story. while nicky shared her story in more detail, we dont know what was lydias story, as she was pretty vague about it. we dont know if something happened in those inbetween times, that nicky isnt telling and if lydia isnt haring more. not defending anyones actions but just a reminder as you seem so sure and straight up to judge her if she was your own daughter. if she was you could probably be furious etc. but theres always two sides to the story, and the truth. unless nicky releases cctv footage we wont know what happened. probably then wouldnt know what happened between lydia being happy with her hair and then allegedly storming in and being unreasonable.
I unsubscribed to Lydia probably 6 months ago. I think something is wrong with her. She is so unhappy and doesn’t know how to deal with her unhappiness. Has anyone noticed how she is never satisfied. Lydia has been through a rough time aswell. Her nose injections, breast surgeries, teeth --- I said some horrible things then had a 're check about my own life- realised something about myself and deleted my comments. Then recently saw her old videos about her journey, her pet gone missing forever, Ali not speaking to her so much other stuff. I am not sure if she has had her uterus taken out/ not. / cancer . There are things many don't know and she will take to her grave. Perhaps she was sexually assaulted at the meetings. Who knows.

Again: Lydia is and has always been an insecure narcissistic. Now she's into "Status" stuff (Hermes, for example) and she is uncomfortable with herself. She's promoting how "honest and transparent) she is just in the last few weeks, example her breast surgery. However she is having her dressing room repainted, her husband's office repainted, the crown molding in the living room repainted and whatever else. I find when she laughs, often she is more nervous than anything. Now everything has to be green. And I keep thinking, Lord, how soon will she change her mind on that. Are pale green nails attractive? And the other thing is she always days "WE" want this change, we want a black living room etc. Ali seems so down to earth. I can't believe he lies awake at night worried about paint chips! I'd heard she had bullied a hairdresser, but didn't know many details. This young mother seems very heartfelt and absolutely should speak out. It's sad how Lydia projected her own unhappiness on this person. Rather than buying McQueen belts, Hermes etc. Lydia should invest in a good psychotherapist. Life is to short.

I never followed her although I did watch some of her vids because of my sister and then I kept getting her vids recommended on TH-cam but never followed her on any platform because I found her and her content boring and something about her felt off to me. If she can do something like that to a 9 month pregnant woman and still to this day bash her then she’s heartless and obviously unstable. No amount of pretty and expensive things can hide her cruel nature. Maybe she’s envious she doesn’t have kids of her own and made someone who’s pregnant is her target. There’s no justifying her actions. This lady seems sweet but if there’s video footage it needs to be released if Lydia keeps up this behavior.

If somebody does your hair in a way that you don't like then why would you go back? (not for one minute am I suggesting her hair was ruined, it looked gorgeous). Regardless of the "mean girl" we are all now hearing about...Lydia's hair always looks gorgeous. As with most people, this has happened to me quite a few times. l went somewhere new to get a fix. If I wasn't happy the first time, then why would I go back? Hair grows. I am not confrontational at all which is why I just chalked it down to experience. Also, sometimes it is just different from how you thought in your head your hair would turn out. Can't believe I am actually writing about this....I think I am just really, really surprised and shocked by her bahaviour.
at least in my country if you get your hair done in place x and you are not happy and can point out the reason (not just vaguely say i dont like it), for example uneven coloring or something, you go back to the place x and they fix it free of charge. idk how things are done in the uk but at least for me when i went to get highlights and they were done badly i went back and they fixed it for me.

Omg 😱 she absolutely portraits such an innocent 😇 personality and seems like a positive person, but I do feel that the person in question has another side to her! Any woman that sees her fellow female pregnant woman would absolutely be understanding towards that kind of situation and would try and resolve it like an adult, but I feel that the person in question must have a narsasistic trait to begin with to even go to someone else’s house and behave like a spoiled child in the first place. You obviously did the very best you could do for this lady and tried to resolve it in an adult manor’ however this person is obviously very hard to please in the first place otherwise she would of allowed you to put it right and like you said talk about it.instead she proceeded to put you down to other people behind your back and that’s not a very genuine person in my eyes! It’s has changed me about Lydia why would anybody want to destroy a hard working woman now mother..over hair I myself have dark hair wanted it lighten.. it didn’t take but I never went to the hairdresser to destroy her career or scream at her .. because I know if I had of went back it probably would of lighten more in time but I haven’t the patients to continue.. you have beautiful hair yourself I can tell you are a good hairdresser..from your own hair I was going to order the evergreen book.. but changed my mind.. all the best to you and your lovely baby.. I personally didn’t see anything wrong with Lydia s hair afterwards..Sorry you had to go through this when expecting I lost at term baby girls stillborn.. Everyone should take a deep breath and realize there are always two sides to every story. Perhaps Lydia did get upset, but she makes a living in the beauty industry and her appearance is extremely important since that is part of her craft. Frankly, I have never heard of a hair process that would take a number of cleanings before the "true" color presents itself. That seems to be a poor excuse for trying to cover for a coloring mistake. Baby, or no baby, that shouldn't even enter the discussion. This whole incident would have been better unsaid and left out of the public forum.
