      You don't have to wait 2 years .I bought this new farm closer to the hot springs with 10 to 18 year old trees on it with lots of other fruit.we will harvest in may and jun with all the other fruit .If you're in Thailand around that time I'll have as much as you want to eat

    Greetings from Australia, like it or not Terry, you have become durian Guru on TH-cam, thanks for sharing your work . Your pre planting soil preparation is priceless. Starting our durian farm next year in Ubon Ratchathani. The soil conditioner you used in your
    soil preparation video. If it's not too much trouble. Can i please know the brand, like to know the ingredients in the bag. Cheers

    What type of system are you using, planted 2 trees that are closed apart?

    • @TMDurianfarmer
      @TMDurianfarmer  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Low head system coupled with high density cropping

    Greetings from Pensacola Florida. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. One question, please. Why do you plant two trees close together, then a large gap to the next two trees planted closely together?
    Thanks again for sharing the knowledge. I'm considering growing Durian but in the Philippines. I retire next year and the wife wants to go home. I'll need something to keep me healthy physically as well as mentally. Farming will do the trick in sure

      You live in one of the best places in America I love that place.i have family there .The Philippines yep is a great place ,I have a few friends that live there .
      I planted my farm's high density to produce more fruit with low labor costs .it's modeled like an American orchard with double trees planting to increase yield

    Hi Terry, thanks for the videos they are extremely usefull. Just discovered your channel so i’ll be doing some serious bingewatching over the next few days ;-). We are close to buying 10 rai, north of Rayong to start a Durian farm. In addition to the Durian trees, i was thinking of planting also some 200 papaya trees to cover costs and maintenance the first years. With your experience, would that be a wise thing to consider?

    • @TMDurianfarmer
      @TMDurianfarmer  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Welcome to the channel 👍. Congratulations with the ten Rai, it's a great feeling getting up in the morning working on your farm.You will always have something to do with a farm .
      Your first and second year I can see papaya being grown to offset cost and to eat some great papaya . Just keep in mind don't grow them too close to the trees . Before you plant your trees make sure to prep your holes out 4 to 6 months before it makes a huge difference .I have a vid on it. my last vid I showed an update on the results of prepping and not prepping holes take a look it's impressive.just realized it's this vid🙏

    Looking good terry, greeting from Indonesia. I got a few questions. 1. How much is the spacing between the trees. 2. Do you clean the grass frequently? 3. Do you do soil loosening? Or you just keep it that way for years. Thank you.

    • @TMDurianfarmer
      @TMDurianfarmer  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I planted 7x7
      As for cutting the grass we do it every 3 weeks or as needed.
      We don't do any soil loosening .
