Ive had relationships like that, like when I was a kid and my mom and I would hang out with her guy friend. He was always acting like a kid and I was trying to contain him.
The fact he's played so many hardasses on screen it's really a treat to see him goofy. Easily one of my favourite actors I'm happy he's getting the success he deserves and doing getting such iconic roles.

The real talent of Pedro is that he is able to adapt to whomever he's talking to- he is always able to make anyone feel at ease while still being his sweet goofy self. Basically, he's a total sweetheart.
They are supposed to have the father daughter relationship with Joel, and Ellie, but Pedro, and Bella give a brother, and sister vibe ,and yes Pedro is the little brother.
When she asks 'which sister?' unprompted.... it shows how much they know each other off camera, and shows they have built a relationship throughout filming. Makes all the difference on camera. Love them both so much.

Saw him on SNL and he was hilarious and fearless. He was in all or almost all scenes, which tells you how well he did over the course of the week leading up to the show. They have to hide some of the guest hosts. This is one charismatic actor, who appears to be able to do it all.
When Joel start to open up, we’re gonna get this chemistry and I’m excited for it. The little dialogues they have walking around in the game really made the game for me.

Wow. There's are a couple scenes that give me immense respect for Bella Ramsey - when she looks at the coffee percolator and when she's leaving the item on the ground at the end of E5. Not a word spoken but so much emotion in her face. And Pedro Pascal --he inhabits this role completely. His eyes say so much with just a glance.
People like you must not have played the game because she doesn’t resemble Ellie in the slightest. For one Ellie did not cuss or have a rebellious attitude that this Bella Ramsey portrays on Ellie. yes! at first I was like...damn! why couldn't they find an actress that actually looked like Ellie. After seeing Bella's undeniable acting prowess, I was completely sold. Pedro also doesn't look like Joel if you think about it but like Bella, I can't see anybody else playing the role. I'm so far blown away. Can't wait for episode 3.
I personally think Bella is doing a good job portraying Ellie in the way she speaks and acts, she however does not resemble Ellie in the slightest. And that is not her fault, the fault is in the casting crew and I will tell you why it's important for the actors to look like their characters in this case. Let's say there was only a book about TLOU, no visual representation of the characters at all, just in writing. That makes it quite easy to cast any actor that vaguely resemble the characters and it would still work, but in this case we have not one but two full video games with features that literally gives us a visual representation of a character down to their pores, and this makes the demand for the actors to look like their characters quite high and puts a lot of pressure on the casting team to make good choices. They clearly choose and made Pedro resemble Joel almost perfectly, he is a very close match to how the original Joel looks so why not do that with Ellie, they are both the two big main characters and going off totally like that and choosing a woman that doesn't even look like Ellie, not even a little is quite strange. And for people that have played the games and will compare the game and series weather they like it or not will notice that. All and all, Bella is doing a good job acting like Ellie, but it's super weird to me personally why they would choose her when she looks nothing like Ellie when they clearly had that in mind with both Joel and many other characters when they did their casting.
Pedro Pascal is such a sympathic and happy guy who laughs often, completely an opponent to his role as Joel ^^' Btw. he plays this role excellent, Ramsey does an unbelievable job too, the series is just aaaaamazing. I love it, I love them :DDD
He really has missed with his roles as long as I've known of him. Game of Thrones, Mandalorian, Narcos, now Last of Us. He's amazing in all of them. And all are completely different roles which is even more impressive.
We've seen Pedro playing a lot of different characters in GoT, Narcos, The Mandalorian, The Last of Us... But after seein this, probably the character who he really is most like is Javi from the great The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent

3:19 I like her. Some girls don't realize how big the size and muscle difference is between men and women and how it matters in a situation like that. Some even get in trouble because of it. Having the confidence, but knowing when to back down is a great ability to have. She says she's too confident, but she's obviously aware.
It’s a factor, but it isn’t the only factor, being smarter, being more skilled and obviously having better weapons, or even just occasionally luck are big factors in a fight, which is why life and history is full of bigger people getting beaten by smaller people. It is a good ability, though to know when to not cause trouble tho.

This just further proved to me how good Pedro is. I've not seen him in interviews before, but he's a fun, quirky person. When he's in character as Joel, he's just so robust. He's just an incredible actor through and through.

yes! at first I was like...damn! why couldn't they find an actress that actually looked like Ellie. After seeing Bella's undeniable acting prowess, I was completely sold. Pedro also doesn't look like Joel if you think about it but like Bella, I can't see anybody else playing the role. I'm so far blown away. Can't wait for episode 3.
I personally think Bella is doing a good job portraying Ellie in the way she speaks and acts, she however does not resemble Ellie in the slightest.
And that is not her fault, the fault is in the casting crew and I will tell you why it's important for the actors to look like their characters in this case.
Let's say there was only a book about TLOU, no visual representation of the characters at all, just in writing.
That makes it quite easy to cast any actor that vaguely resemble the characters and it would still work, but in this case we have not one but two full video games with features that literally gives us a visual representation of a character down to their pores, and this makes the demand for the actors to look like their characters quite high and puts a lot of pressure on the casting team to make good choices.
They clearly choose and made Pedro resemble Joel almost perfectly, he is a very close match to how the original Joel looks so why not do that with Ellie, they are both the two big main characters and going off totally like that and choosing a woman that doesn't even look like Ellie, not even a little is quite strange.
And for people that have played the games and will compare the game and series weather they like it or not will notice that.
All and all, Bella is doing a good job acting like Ellie, but it's super weird to me personally why they would choose her when she looks nothing like Ellie when they clearly had that in mind with both Joel and many other characters when they did their casting.
Pedro Pascal is such a sympathic and happy guy who laughs often, completely an opponent to his role as Joel ^^' Btw. he plays this role excellent, Ramsey does an unbelievable job too, the series is just aaaaamazing. I love it, I love them :DDD

He really has missed with his roles as long as I've known of him. Game of Thrones, Mandalorian, Narcos, now Last of Us. He's amazing in all of them. And all are completely different roles which is even more impressive.

It’s a factor, but it isn’t the only factor, being smarter, being more skilled and obviously having better weapons, or even just occasionally luck are big factors in a fight, which is why life and history is full of bigger people getting beaten by smaller people. It is a good ability, though to know when to not cause trouble tho.
