There was a young lady who printed a shoe....
This is the version I am going to tell my kids
Who made iron man suits and mando masks too
That wasn’t all she was gonna do
Someone profit off writing this book, and give royalties to the young lady.
Plz ❤
An "investor to other intellectual investors" thought. 😅
printerella👟
I know I'm late to the story here. The people who say you should buy them don't understand how engineers work. Engineers sometimes do things not because it's easy, but because it's a challenge. Anyone can BUY Healies. But you MADE fake Healies.
I have a banner in my shop that I point my friends to when they tease me for always doing things “the hard way”. It reads “we do this not because it is easy, but because we thought it would be easy”
@@nolansprojects2840 I should get me one of those banners lol... BUT MAYBE I SHOULD SEW ME ONE INSTEAD
Well they are real, they exist
this is amazing and creative!
Ive always wanted an insert to make any shoe a heelie, could be something to 3d print
Oh this was so fun to watch. We all need 3D printed Heelys!
_...... the call has been heard......_
super cool project 👏😎
These will go perfectly with your Iron Man suits, because in the comics he sometimes had wheels that popped out of his boots.
Emily!!!You're freaking awesome!!!
She’s da bomb. I love her personality
Loved the editing in this video!
You could stick a thin layer of rubber or something idk on the wheel to make it less loud. You can also put rubber on the inside so it is a tiny bit more comfortable
So glad she’s back
Literally u r my inspiration to become an engineer genuinely ❣️
Seems like you put your foot down for this project!
Sorry I shoe dn't have made that joke!
…please huz. Not the dad jokes.😂
These shoe jokes are a walk in the park to make
@@sqiudy-catmedland1421 awwww, you guys are making dad jokes together!❤ you really are sole-mates😂😂😂
Respect
@@zachmhuber wow im laughing so hard I might need to lace up my sides
You're the hero the internet deserves, but not the one it needs!
this video constructs pieces of the armor of Night Knight
it's like bowling shoes and clown shoes had a baby
YES! Same with blinking shoes! 😅
I’ve been printing for just shy of a year now and I’m trying to teach myself design now too (Unsuccessfully). Would love it if Emily could put together a multi part series teaching blender with each episode having a basic lesson and per episode “project” to reinforce the lesson.
omfg ! as a kid I saw some in some commercials and I always dreamed to have some but I never was able to as they dont even exist in my country and I never ever saw anyone have some in person... I kinda still would love to try them tho
Heelies cane out when I was in my early 20s and I was so very jelly. All we had were shoes with red lights in when I was a kid. Heelies are so much cooler.
that was fun to watch. great video. maybe print a tpu sleeve for the wheel?
She cut the best part of the whole video! Thousands of thirsty men cried out in disappointment watching this. Iykyk.
Right before heelys came out there were these shoes called "Soaps" there are ads for them in sonic adventure 2. They were these shoes that had plastic arches made to grind across stuff. They were some of the most fun ever. In early 2000 I was in elementary school sliding across a rail on the playground, mind you I am like 11 years old and male so puberty had started to hit. Anyways I slide across this rail when a girl, who I dated later on in life, kicks the rail causing me to rack myself. Haha funny, I laugh about it along with everyone else but the pain doesn't go away after a few hours. Eventually my dad notices me walking weird and asks, and rushes me to a doctor. Did you know there is such a thing as a fractured testicle? I didn't until then. The best way to describe it, I am very sorry to any male reading this, is a bouncy ball gets stepped on and a split forms in it. There is nothing they can do for it but let it heal painfully over a few weeks...
Anyways once heelys came out I quickly swapped to those. Rolled a few ankles but nothing as bad as the heelys... And then heelys and soaps had a crossover shoe... I never had a pair but I wanted them. They were by far the most dangerous shoe they had like 2 square inches of rubber grip across the entire shoe it was kinda funny.
I saw the title and actually gasped and said, out loud " oh my god I hope they do"
Shes back ayy!
am wondering, how do u make it non slipery ? like, isnt it supposed to have a switch to hide the wheel inside so u can properly walk ?
Love the idea
Tap shoe heely’s ☺️ love it!
tpu wheels and these would be sick af
This was charming to watch.
Always got the Clemson gear on. Way to represent the Tiger fam!
All you need is a marketing person, market the unexpected sliding, as them having the ability to drift
I feel that as a 3D printer dad, so proud….when it works.
I found this video while in the same predicament as you and YES WE NEED MORE ADULT HEELYS!!!! >:(
Your videos make me happy for, among other reasons, the fact that you seem to like metal.
this video has a much better pacing! Quality is going up!
I'll see your Squidward ripping a toenail off and raise you a Ren individually plucking out the nerve endings from his gumline.
I too hate that my toenail was also removed like Squidward's when I was a child, differently, but the pain was still there
Heelys don't sell the adult sizes at all in some countries, not even online.
very funny 3d printer shirt idea!
Hey! It was great meeting you on discord the other night! Still pretty star-struck from that by the way😂
lmao this is my favorite of your videos
you are now my spirit animal and I must now buy a 3d printer
I have Heely's and shopping in person would be way better. But they're awesome
How long did it took you to learn to model? Because I want to make my own models on Blender and I want to know how long it took other people to learn it or else I will lose my motivatiooon
:)
Honestly I think blender is difficult to learn. My advice would be to watch the blender guru donut tutorial and follow it through, his blender videos are unrivalled for helping beginners. Blender is an amazing peice of software so I highly recommend learning it even though it will take many hours to master. Good luck if you decide to take it on!
@@bigbirb9660 Thank you for the advice
Bowling shoe heelys :P
This should become a new trend in fashion industry-
You made tap shoes too!
Awesome!!! but please don´t wait so long for your next video
3D printed Heelys...mixed with SOAP shoes! That's an idea
When the printer works “yeah! That’s how it’s done I got it down now! I’m so proud of you!” When it fails “Bro the print isn’t that difficult to do! Tell me what you need! WHYYYYY!”
My skill with using adult heelys is inversely proportionate to my confidence that I won't be made fun of while wearing them
You should try making heelys using TPU instead of PLA. TPU isn’t too hard to print on an ender 3, and it’ll solve a lot of your problems
The upper is made of tpu my dude
I like your eyebrows
6:43 XD LOL!
Amazing 🤩
This is pretty amazing…I know you wanted to make heelys but…have you considered printing curling shoes? Seems like you’ve printed a shoe with a sturdy base…and it just seems like it’s transferable knowledge? Rubber sole on one foot and Teflon on the other one…just a thought
Maybe you can print protectors so you are less afraid of falling
Listen for us turning into early beginning adults our childhood is coming back PEOPLLLLLLLLEEEEE!!!!!!!!!
Now make them with a slot in the heel for a spark pad from the sparking razor scooters
I have a pair of adult sized heelys. Sized 11.
Why not do the wheels in tpu? I printed a set of longboard wheels with a pla+ core and tpu wheels and they work like regular wheels.
The files are on printables I believe if not then thingyverse but definitely free either way.
im also an adult wanting some rolling shoes .... never got any ... might print them.
BUT ... and its a pretty big butt ..... your shoes have a bigger pro than what you said, the same shoe fit on 3 different sized people .... thats new
loved the video, new to your channel.
Reminder to myself to find a friend who can make me heelies so we can ride off into the sunset.
You can drift with them. Initial Heelys.
you should call that the EMEELYS project 🙃
Riding the heelies to escape the feelies
I made a joke like this last week how I don't need a skate board just need heelys and now it can happen
You could have also done 3D printed bearings
Squidwards toenail ripping off still hurts me
❤️
nex tversion gotta make the toe box tighter it will make it easier to balance on the wheels for sure
I just order everything online
Amazon and target sell it
I had heelys it took a week to learn how to do it
I always wanted a pair, when they first came out. Then some kid broke both his ankles and they got banned in our school... soo no chance any parents of buying them
Never heard of flexible pla before
That shirt is cute but it also begs everybody you see to rob you
I owned Heelys as an adult when they first came out like 20 years ago. Hurt myself every time I put them on.
You give off a William osman vibe
Testing them out looked so sketchy lol
Less than a minute in. I like you already. :-)
You could strap rockets to them? Heelies don't have that
I'm a bit late but there was nothing wrong with shoving a m4 threaded rod into the pivot of the wheel to get it sturdier
they have a website...
I thought the title said Can you print YEEZYS. This would have been a different video
You could do that better, tinker with it an make it usable and beautiful, an btw you are beautiful.
Add a slot for solid rocket engines.. and/or a motor and/or inflatable mini raft and/or flickknife.
Proud 3D printer parent in my case lol
Good job champ
I tried printing a 3d printer while it was printing a 3d printer and the house blew up. Something about the laws of thermodynamics or something.
😂 I can see why they won't sell these to adults. 5:08 (kidding) I'll stick with roller blades. I was gonna say they're safer, but I did break my clavicle playing hockey. LOL...
Fantastic video. never buy online when you can learn things and print at home.
In theory you could 3d print and assemble your own bearings out of plastic, they'd likely explode but eh
One wamon lol
What uppp❤
Threelys? 3lys? Threedlys? 3Dlys?
Hi big fan
hahahahahahaha!!!
2:48 umm actually that title belongs to me
Ok so it has been 5 months and you gives us an 6 minute video
