Hey Greg , thx for your helpful videos. I have a question that I don’t believe has been asked before, could you try to address on your next stream.
So using lanes. I tend to use them as takes. Say I select a lane and it gets sent to main track. If I go to move or trim (change length etc) that track ..
Then the wave from another lane shows up on the track from under it. I know I can delete lanes , and convert to track versions and visa versa. But for work flow I’d like the track only to show the selected lane data. So if I moved the event or resized the using the corner slider. Whats left behind would be blank, and not the lanes underneath. I thought hide lanes might do this. Is there a quick function to make the track only show data from selected the lane or comped lanes? But not show at all data from lanes not selected.

Am using windows 10 and i've been trying to install cubase 12 but it's failing, what could be the problem?
What exactly is it doing? Is It not installing the program? Is it not activating the license? Did you download through Steinberg Download Assistant?
I had a problem on a fresh install where Cubase would just shut down as soon as I started a project. I ticked don't run 3rd party plugins, (none were installed) and everything was suddenly fine.
