Hello @Cubase and @Greg Ondo,
Question, I recently upgraded from a (16 bit--44kHz) Behringer UM2 audio interface to a Steinberg UR242 (24bit--192kHz), which I setup last-night and I'm concerned that I'm recieving these crackling sounds while monitoring--playing live guitar. I'm just wondering if this is do to not using the proper Yamaha driver? I'm currently utilizing the ASIO4ALL driver since I do not currently possess any studio monitors, yet, so my output is routed thru my laptops Jack to RCA cable, which is then fed to a Yamaha stereo. ... Also do I need to change the bit-depth and kHz in a cubase project to match my audio interface, even though the UR242 states that 192kHz is "not supported" (this message is stated in Orange lettering in Cubase)?

Use the dedicated ADIO driver for the UR interface. You may want to monitor through headphones from the UR as opposed to the laptop speakers.
