I don’t think I ever saw calipers that bad. The things I learned here are amazing. What a job you did on that caliber. As always Old Mac love the video. Look forward to the next job. Thank you Sir. Randy
Your right it's almost impossible to clean that narrow space between the pisten and the calliper house. I always try to clean that as good as I can 😉👊🏻👍🏻
Using your wife's toothbrush is only possible if your wife does not have full dentures/dental prosthesis/. Otherwise, you have to use a hand brush or your own tooth brush😅 I like your humor TOM👍

great just on the other side that cannot reach.. it is hard to get it cleaned.. and it really stiff to turn/spin those pistons
would i be able to put the calipers in a bucket of soapy water before scrubbing them
Great video! But… i Seem to have trouble clean the pistons all the way around. Did you manage that with the toothbrush? If so.. I’ll use my wifes 😊

Is it just dish soap?

why focus on aesthetic details and not rotate the pistons to clean the more important non-visible part.
When you rotate the pistons, there is a big chance that the seals start to leak 😉
Oh dear copper grease on brake pads noooooo!
As you see a very tiny smear prevent sequeging noises 😉
A old macanic yo want to use your wife's cotton buds to get in them little holes on the caliper, but don't tell the wife. 👍
😂👍🏻
