Another great episode Ash. A great tip to get your tension even on your socks cast on is to cast on tightly over both needles held together - I use that trick in both my sock patterns and it works great! 😀 Thanks for the mention on the Canberra Socks - your version is so gorgeous in that blue yarn!! Amazing

Your tensioning is great and it will only get better with blocking! The finished stick season also looks amazing and I gasped when I saw your turtle dove shawl- I love the colors and the cables look so crisp. It’s so fun to see all your different WIPs as always!

Just came back to hear the full in depth review of the sticks sweater!! Thank you for going into it all - I’ve just cast one on in some BWM I was given at a recent friends destash day. Slightly nervous I’ve picked the wrong size and may see if I can fudge it before I finish the back panel 😅
I have to say it, (I’m an American living in Germany so I get the struggle) but the lang yarn is pronounced “ya-voll” and the colorway is pronounced “flee-der” ;) Sorry for the unsolicited German lesson, but I’ve seen so many vodcasters using this yarn and pronouncing it wrong, I just have to give it Justice 😂🥂 Love the cast, love the socks! Happy knitting!
