My first wedding I went to the food was all vegan. Nastiest shit I've ever seen. I starved myself for the entire day and ate a big cheeseburger once I got home.
It's true the best wedding I've been to had pulled pork and chicken, wood fired half chickens, fresh pretzel bread , 3 different kinds of potato salad, BBQ beans with burnt tips, loaded baked potatoes, Cole slaw, 3 different kinds of salads, grilled garlic parmesan veggies. They stacked our plates so high we barely had room for the best wedding cake I'd ever had.
It was so much better than the 8 oz of food you get at other weddings.
Just a likeable dude.. Simple as that.
He's also a Wisconsin guy so that's a bonus for me.
We love him here in Houston. Funny and sincere with a great family.

JJ looks like that one celebrity dude that’s just nice af and cool af in person
He used to hand out full-size candy bars at his house for Halloween a few years back. It got too crazy so his neighbors told him no more. At every NFL game whether they're at home or away he plays catch with fans from both teams before the game. He also helped raise 33 million dollars for Houston after Hurricane Harvey. So yeah he's a genuinely nice guy.
He's the best. He's the one who turned me into a Texans fan, and I'm not from the USA!

Last year JJ gave the commencement speach here at UW Madison, it was one of the most inspiring, heartwarming, and memorable speaches I've ever heard.
People beforehand offered to help he right it and his responce was simply "thanks, but they asked me to speak, not you, so I need to write it myself."

I'm from Houston, and it's so nice that this city here has such a wonderful guy like JJ Watt. I admire him greatly and I wish there were more athletes this good like him. Not like the ones that beat up their wives/girlfriends, act all psycho, or get in trouble with the law. The world needs more people like him.

Agreed! I went to a wedding a few years ago, where they had a pizza buffet. Outside the venue the pizza was made fresh in a food truck. It was so good and much more fun than a sit down dinner.
