This is one of many S-Rank videos to come for Sonic's 20th Anniversary celebration video game, which will include every act as well as every boss and rival (both on hard mode). Enjoy! ^_^

Well I actually used to listen to this tune everyday, no lie.

Kamuro Tetsu bitch, Modern Sonic doesn't spin dash.
This stage is what really made me fall in love with Sonic Generations. I always liked the game a lot, but...the part where he's running down the church (or whatever the building is) and you see all the balloons and the rooftops...I dunno. The visual design of that really impressed me.
There's a setpiece like it in almost every level
Clearly you never played the MUCH superior Unleashed version of this stage. It blows this game's graphics away, not even a chance. This is so nerfed.
The Den but does it have hot air balloons tho?
5th Kie... Does the Gens version have realistic shading and GI ? Or enviroments nearly as detailed ?
Who gives a shit about the balloons if they look like they were photoshopped over the stage ?
Because it has meh graphics.

Best level in Generations, personally. I can't even count the number of times I've played it.
Omar Elmosrati I like the crisis city stage the most personally, it brings back OLD memories of 06. Despite all the bad rep 06 gets, i loved it.
Pyro Burner Crisis City was pretty fun, in this game. 06, not so much. I respect your opinion and all, but I just can't understand how people like it.

Best stage in the entire game PERIOD!
I'm really hoping Sega makes another 3D Sonic like this with the cool drifting and speed. I really didn't like the Classic Sonic portion of the game. Hopefully they keep Classic Sonic in the style of Sonic Mania and 3D Sonic in the style of Colors and the Modern half of Generations.

This level, for both sonics made me believe I was playing the best platformer game I've ever played. You play so well! I wish I could be that fast.

The attention to detail on this game is incredible, at 1:20 Sonic is moving so fast, the music actually distorts a bit...uh-mazing -_O

I beat my old time and now got it down to 3:14. Lol, trying to beat my old time is something I will never, ever try again - too frustrating and anxiety inducing. But I love this game.
Yes because relatively doing nothing but holding the boost button for 2:30+ the whole level is just fan-fucking-tastic!

Check in the options menu, you can turn Controller Tutorials on or off there. Maybe for some stupid reason it's off by default, or you accidentally turned it off when getting rid of Omochao.

I've found with the levels where you race a Doppelganger some more challenge to the S rank.
I honestly think Rooftop Run in Generations is better than the one in Unleashed visually. Although I like them both equally.

@DarkspinesSonic Do you even need to quick step in that part? The physics make it so you'll slide over anyways, or does that reduce your speed in any way?

I only saw the difference when i looked at the Hud.
Could you do more really fast speed runs? Because there's this guy who says he can beat you, and I think that's impossible.

You know I was thinking of how Nintendo could do a Super Mario Generations or something, but appart from 64, Sunshine and the Galaxies, there are not too much iconic levels on Mario games.
Vinzan Well, they could do it exactly like this, and have some 3d levels, some 2d levels from the original 3 Mario games, which actually do have some iconic levels.
