My xbox won't connect to any of the tv's I've tried. I've tried resetting the display settings. I've tried resetting the tv's. I know my xbox is working because I can open and close the tray. I need help
You can do it if you watch his video and just do it blindfoldet cuz you know when to press left and right and stuff. Because the xbox is still running if it is not connected to the tv

The blind rest worked for me. Though make sure when you boot the system up, you wait for 19 secounds, for the xbox to get to the login screen, press A then wait 10 secounds then do the blind reset
its easier than it sounds these are the steps Wait for 19 scounds then press a to sign in then wait 10 secounds then do the steps 1) Ensure that the Xbox 360 is booted without a disc in the drive 2) Hold RIGHT on the D-Pad for 10 seconds 3) Press LEFT on the D-Pad THREE (3) times 4) Press the A button and wait one second 5) Repeat step number 4 three more times (so four A-Button presses in all) 6) Press the D-Pad up Three times 7) Press the A button if there is no picture then prees the D-Pad up and press A again
You could try the reset with the controller Turn the xbox on with the controller, and wait untill it shows a solid light for player 1, then hold Y and RT for up to three minutes, the system will reboot during that time If that dosen't work, you may want to hook up the xbox via some compsite cables, and memorize the menu, and try the blind reset again. (your looking for the resolution settings)
My Xbox 360, play ok, but keep stop with no signal, or the game screen will get clouded and be making a noise. Could it be cause of the broken antenna? Cause one of my antenna wires broke months ago, but my tv play fine, but could that be what's causing my game to go off with no signal while playing it?

I spent all morning trying to figure out the problem and what I did was simply connect the HDMI cord from the T.V. directly to my PC to see if it would come up and sure enough it did so I unplugged it and plugged it back into my 360 and it works great.
I have a 1920 X 1080 monitor and using a HDMI to DVI Adapter it works fine on 720p but when I select optimal resolution or 1080p the screen goes blank with no signal and yes I have the display discovery enabled.
@@Shantanu-sardar Xbox is HDCP protected High Definition Content Protocol. Meaning it will never relay HD content unless directly connected to a display.

I have this problem but with a benq monitor. Xbox360 has only been plugged into the monitor via HDMI (not a tv). I used the monitor with my mac via DVI and now the xbox360 can't talk to the monitor. Could you suggest any fixes? Thanks
When ever plugin my yellow cable it won't show the screen but I hear it but when I go to the green random one it works but the screens all crazy its black and white it has lines and it shows like 3 screens help!!
bummer. both the red white yellow, and the spare green blue red and audio cors dont work but i can hear it power cycle. hmmm must be my xbox, tried every tv in the house 3 times over.
Or instead of doing all this. Turn it on, sign in. Wait a while. Press A, if the tray opens your good. Go up once, spam RB. Go down once, Press A, press A again. Press A again, now go down 4 times, press A, press A again, go up once, and your Console should restart. I did this all while black Screen. Mind you I havent used my xbox in about 1 and a half to 2 years.
@@ahmedbasit1901 I have tested it, as long as the TV is on and powered it seems to work. With the TV off it goes in standby, but if the cord connects both ports, and the TV is on it should work fine. Otherwise /shrug

But yet my controller still turns on the system but can’t see anything.. the controller sits there and flashes and can’t connect … the tv can sense it there and it wakes up when I turn it on but thing. Ok, here's my problem. I have my 360 Pro connected to my TV along with my One. The one is fine and is normal. I took out my 360 (worked perfectly before) and took it to a hotel that I spent a few days in. I connected my 360 to the Hotel TV. (Direct connection, normal Tv with no changes) and there's no picture. No signal, to be exact, sound or picture. So I think it's just a problem with the TV. I get home, set everything back up, and it is still blank. Help!! (BTW, AV cable works, but I need Hdmi for... Reasons)

NATI POVEDA from what ive learnt in the comments it appears that the main ones are to hold the power button, also there is the rt+y trick also try disabling and reenabling display discovery.
So I got nostalgia and decided to fix my old broken Xbox, played it on another friend's TV and now it doesn't work. I'm not going to pay to get it repaired after just having it repaired because of MS' laziness. Please help, I've tried holding RT and Y, changing the settings to my TV's settings using another TV, and I already have that discovery thing enabled.
tried the R trigger + Y reset for resolution, but my hdmi coonnected xbox360 will almost start up, the logo screen will flicker a bit but then return to no signal. how come?
problem solved, apparently the default reset settings arent compatible with my tv. so i just did a blind display resolution change to a compatible setting. thanx for the vid btw

I have a smiler problem but there's no sound on one TV then I put it in another one and it says no signal then I plug it in another TV and says no signal. But I will try this trick.
If anyone still has this problem. The way i fixed it was i did a factory reset through my tv's settings. Somehow my 360 change something on my vizio 32 inch smart tv. Hopefully this helps

It depends what type of tv you are using. the difference between 1080i and 1080P is one is interlaced and one is progressive. on a static image they both should look identical. it could possibly be your tvs analog to digital converter as most tvs these days are lcd or plasma and are inherently digital. id say trying an hdmi cable couldn't hurt.

have you tried turning display discovery off then back on and made sure it was on the lowest resolution as possible. sometimes using composite then going back to hdmi might work.
So j had a power breakdown .. and when it was back i opened my xbox on my tv and said no signal .. then i switched the hdmi port from 3 to 2 and it worked.thanks to u 👍👍
I was having this problem. I turned off my xbox, unplugged it from the tv, unplugged my TV power, and plugged my TV back in, connected my Xbox and everything worked

What type of cable are you using? some hdmi cables have bandwidth issues.

My Xbox goes to standby mode when it detects there is no hdmi connection sensed. So I can't do anything if it has a black screen.

Dovahkiff you could try holding the power button or seeing if it still works at your mates place.

Blindly navigate to a setting my TV could accomodate for the xbox 360, 1080i i believe.

So my friend came over with his ps3 so i let my bother take the xbox to his room. He has a tv that doesn't have hdmi. so when my friend left i got the xbox back and i tried to connect it via. Hdmi but it kept saying no signal. so i just held the power button down and it didnt help. So can you please reply with an answer if you have one

I have i question, when i want to choose a resoluton from 1080i to 1080p (On xbox 360)it wont work it just shows a black screen idk what the problem is.. Im using HDTV cabel, not HDMI, so if i buy an HDMI cabel will it work to 1080p or what? PlS HELP ME :( My graphic is really bad on xbox..
It depends what type of tv you are using. the difference between 1080i and 1080P is one is interlaced and one is progressive. on a static image they both should look identical. it could possibly be your tvs analog to digital converter as most tvs these days are lcd or plasma and are inherently digital. id say trying an hdmi cable couldn't hurt.
+Thomas Sears My TV Is only working with analog convert, Im using Bravia Sony tv it can be up to 1080 HD, and its like 47-48 inch big tv, and i dont know what to do to fix it and to get better graphic, should HDMI cabel help or do you know any other option? what if display discovery is already enabled but it works on the other tv
have you tried turning display discovery off then back on
and made sure it was on the lowest resolution as possible. sometimes using composite then going back to hdmi might work.
its working now I just took it back to the other tv and it went fine
maybe I didn't have it pushed in properly or something lol
I feel so stupid for not trying a second TV so I can confirm. this works in 2023 lol

So j had a power breakdown .. and when it was back i opened my xbox on my tv and said no signal .. then i switched the hdmi port from 3 to 2 and it worked.thanks to u 👍👍

Thats the thing my hdmi doesnt work on any tv (and its not the cable as i have been watching movies from my laptop on my tv using the hdmi cable)

I was having this problem. I turned off my xbox, unplugged it from the tv, unplugged my TV power, and plugged my TV back in, connected my Xbox and everything worked
