Def a stainless snap hook so much quicker and easier. Thanks for the heads up on a potential new lunch spot. You should also try Caloundra boat club. It’s great.
I got a rock climbing carabiner on both safety chain on my winch AND my ski trailer. The beauty of rock climbing gear is its load rated (mine are 2.4kn, so over 2Ton of force)
Thanks! I’ll check them out now. Do you know if they are load rated like a normal D shackle? For a country of only 5 million, Kiwi’s definitely punch above their weight!!!
Do you know what load your snap hook is rated to? I'm struggling to find a rated snap hook. Yes is allowed (there's even a welcome sign on the jetty for restaurant dinners) but I guess not many arrive this way as the staff didn't know the manager had a key to the jetty gate.
I’m not at home still overseas but I think it is a Spring-Hook Carabiner Snap Clip Made From A4 STAINLESS STEEL, 316 Marine Grade there is a chart with the ratings on them
Thanks for this vid. My wife and I did the same thing this week after seeing this... Although we went the pub at the marina so we didn't get locked in 😂
Haha here in Ireland we are roasted or put another way, rode sideways! We pay €1.40 a litre which converts to $2.35 a litre!! And there is 4.5ltrs a gallon over here.so that’s $10.57 a gallon or for a Auz gallon $8.69, or in the USA equals to a Euro gallon $7.42 . Or $6.60 for a USA gallon As you only have 4 Ltd’s a gallon.
@@JetSkiCamping yup 👍 4.5 ltrs per gallon over in Ireland!! Not UK!! although they are the same 🙄 haha 😂 US is 4 ltrs or 4 quarts as they call it per gallon,

Good to hear Michael! I’ll have to try the pub next time.
Nice couple ..best wishes
Nice lunch date. Can’t believe how cheap the petrol is over there. We at $3.86 a gallon here in the Bahamas.
Usually around AUD$1.50 / L for regular unleaded but has been fluctuating a lot this year. There’s 3.7L in a gallon.
