The fix it from scrap is the most cool series to watch. even if is a normal fix, but the idea is free and no information, makes cool to watch.
That black thing at 18:23 is a crystal oscillator. Usually silver packaged
ScrapYards are perfect for these kind of finds. Thats how I get my videocards for pc's.
10.71 can be upgraded to 11.00 which will make it PPW compatible. I updated a PS4 Pro for my dad and was able to sell it for £235 instead of the £130 they're usually worth. The moral of the story is, never update without checking first!

As a ex smoker i really can say that this kind of damage is a total loss in my opinion. Even if its working and is "cleaned" you never get the smell away completely. And i would never buy smokers stuff.
I found a working ps4 pro with no hard drive and an xbox series s that also powers on, that has a busted hdmi port, they were both thrown in a skip!

You have change the bios chip that why the ps4 stopped working you must put back bios chip back on ps4

I’d defo replace the PSU or at least service it . That thing looks to have been outside a while . The PSU could work for a week or two before shooting flames out 😂.

@@TheCod3r I had an old pc I stored in the garage. Obviously moisture got in there. Two weeks no issues then suddenly kaboom 💥 scared the bejesus out of us 🤣🤣
I got one a few years ago that had been left outside for a year and I paid $25 usd shipped for it cleaned it up, changed the thermal paste and put it back together and used it for 2 years then sold it, never had any issues out of it
