Russell, not sure what they all are but Split Fire will be making some modifications based on customer feed back so stay tuned. The one thing I added was a piece of 2" aluminum flat stock bolted on the front edge of the lift table and the right hand extension table so the splits don't vibrate off. The longer tow bar is definitely a necessity for sure. Derek's Stuff mad a good modification with a removable pallet fork slots so you can easily move with your tractor. I will say I use the caster wheel to move my splitter a lot. Split Fire is going to benefit from all our ideas.👍TCT

Some great ideas there Russell. We think with the road towing idea by extending the wheel base you might have an issue with the log lifter with the wheel in the way not allowing it to go down to the ground. Otherwise we will be taking everything you said into consideration for future updates. Thanks for the great video 👍 👍
@@SplitFireSalesInc thanks for the feedback, much appreciated. I do hope that the folks at Split-Fire are watching your video here Russell. Your 'constructive ' comments are quite valid, especially on the tow bar length. A road towable wheel, axel and lights' option would be a good thing as well. ( In my Province' any trailer must have tail lights while being towed over public roads. ) I think if this were my splitter, I'd like to see the 'lift table' rise up at a slower speed, seems to me that the table rises considerable faster than it lowers. Hi Russell, Hello from your next-door-province of New Brunswick! I really like the idea that as a one-man-splitter-operator, that you are stacking into your nearby, homemade rack - as you split along. Some folks I have seen will also park a nice big wheelbarrel right at the end of the splitters' short table extension. With it right there, it seems very easy to slide all bark and waste wood right into the wheelbarrel. No having to pick it all up off of the ground later. You have a fine setup there, Sir!
@@davewhalen2735 thanks Dave!!! @@russellbelliveau1694 You know, Russell, since the internet came along some years ago, many more people have been able to make informed suggestions about how firewood, splitters, bandsaw mills, etc. etc. can be done even better. Good morning, I have an Easton made axis , a split force sf 9 and a power split static buggy. They all have their place. The axis is the most portable with the suspension, less vibration, better working hight and the foot control is works very nice. The split force sf 9 works .. around the yard, it’s way to tippy to take anywhere. ( also it’s to heavy to move by hand ). The power split static buggy works very well. I can tow it, split hight is good ( I got them to raise it when I ordered it). Foot pedal hight is ok and I can move it by hand. I like them all. Couple of guys near me bought the 1165v’s. and I’m looking forward to trying them out. I do agree the vertical splitters are the future. I bought my first one many years ago and so many guys bought them after trying mine out. For my application I’m going to stay with commercial splitters, they can take day after day use and you don’t have to worry about who uses them.
