I have grown to absolutely love the silicone one, I hated it at first, but it's so easy you just slap it on you don't have to worry about it, and it has super high UVA protection which is great since I have melasma and live in San diego. I just love it because you don't have to make sure it's rubbed in correctly it's just clear. It does Sting my eyes, but most sunscreens do so I just use a sunscreen that doesn't sting my eye around my eyes and then I use this around my face and neck, I want that super high UVA protection
😊...Hi Dana!!!😃😃.. I just had to react to this video!!!...so glad you enjoyed both of them.... I bought these two sunscreens quite some time ago trying to find a EU " version" of the supergoop and the one from Trader Joe's... I guess I've found them 😅... As you said, I guess both of these will work for the majority of people. The invisible one does have Tinosorb M , which might leave a while cast on some people....the transparent one has more of a slip to it... They just had a sale two days ago 25% off.... If you get a chance to try their skincare products they are also worth checking! I personally also use their Theramid line.. the copper peptides and azaleic acid are serums are just great 👍😃
I just got the invisible sunscreen and i’m sooo disappointed.. i wanted to love it so bad, but it sits on the skin if i apply the right amount, it leaves a horrible film and doesn’t absorb at all.. also, it burns in my eyes like CRAZY. I have never had an issue with that with any other sunscreen before, and it’s absolutely insane. I can’t apply it around my eyes, otherwise i’ll have to wash it off after an hour. My heart is broken 🥺
@lacqueredlola by your description it sounds quite similar to the SVR Extreme Sun Secure silicone gel which I wanted to love but had those same huuuge drawbacks 😭😭 back on stylevana, I'll try next the Missha aqua and the new invisible by Cosrx.....
Perfect timing for the review, thank you ! So glad you like them, I just ordered a few serums and the lightweight sunscreen, with 25 % off, now I wish I got more than one 😫 Love from the South ❤
Two questions: Do these pill if applied under foundation? Do they contain avobenzone which turns the collars, cuffs and neck openings of my shirts an acidic yellow?
@@katb4060 I don't mind the siliconey feel, I just wish they'd dry down on me. The Supergoop and all the "dupes" of it I've tried just don't ever dry on my skin. 😭
@@Snuzzled Agreed, that’s really more what I meant! They don’t dry down on me either, and trying to powder over them to cut shine (necessary for my oily tzone) never seems to work out well for me either.
Thanks you for the review! 😊 with regards to the added benefits, I saw that the invisible one has a Vitamin C derivative in it. Do you think that its concentration is enough to skip Vitamin C serum in the morning? I was looking to simplify my morning routine 🤔
If you’re looking to simplify your routine I would look for one with a higher concentration and not a derivative. You’re probably not getting much,if any, Vit C with this one. I would look for a sunscreen that tells you the Vit C %
I wanna try something from Niche beauty so badly! Have my eye on some of their active serums. How would you compare this to the LRP UV Mune? I've found the protection on that is amazing, especially against tanning, but it is a bit greasy on me. Not bad tho considering how good the protection is.
They’re completely different but both Transparent lab formulas are great for the reasons I mentioned in the video. If UV Mune is too greasy for you, I’d only suggest the invisible formula but sone don’t love the heavy silicone formula feels
I did glance at the reviews on their site and saw a lot of eye irritation issues. So that might be a caution for those of us with super sensitive eyes. Not that I trust many user reviews of products.
There are many great products from NBL - But Watch out…. Geek & Gorgeous are coming with a sunscreen later this year 😃
Excited for that!!!
🥹so psyched!!!! Thanks for the info!
@@isabeldelong9577 they come out with the new peptide Yesterday 🤩

Agreed! Sucks that you get eye sting, I know that’s no fun

Love this!!! I saw they just had a sale, and wish I had posted the video sooner. I did buy a few of their skincare and like the retinal a lot so far!
They were reformulated and they took out the tinosorb m
Es una empresa española👏👏👏 buena cosmética a precios más que razonables
I was so happy these came back in stock. I bought 2 of the invisible immediately! Thank you for the recommendation!
Hope you enjoy it!
Thanks to you I finally have sunscreen I will wear! My favorites are these from Niche Beauty Labs and Isntree Watery Sun Gel.

I’ve found that the Lightweight one absorbs quicker and is also invisible. But it may also sting your eyes-not sure. Sorry to hear though!

They have not pilled for me
Hi Dana, thanks for this review! Does the invisible one feel “silicone-y” like the supergoop one?
Yep, I’ve never tried an invisible one that doesn’t have that feel. The consistency is a bit more liquidy though. Not sure how much that matters
@@DanaRipperton Me neither, I’m just hoping one day 🤞🏻 The silicone feel is just not my preference, but I may give the Lightweight one a try!
@@katb4060I’ve actually been reaching for the Lightweight one more recently. It’s really lovely

Curious if the invisible sunscreen is about the same as FreezyDerm? Any major differences in how they feel?
lol all invisible sunscreens feel soooooooo similar. This feels less matte, and more moisturizing than FrezyDerm

Yeah, it’s a reality for many chemical sunscreens and people with sensitive eyes 😔
I have used them and they irritated my eyes.
I have really oily skin in summer, i am between the supergoop unseen vs this invisible one, could you recommend with which one i should go
Supergoop will have a more matte finish than this one
Its sold out everywhere 😢
It tends to come back within a few weeks
