How to Install SYNLawn Artificial Grass

Before installing SYNLawn, you will need the proper tools. A list of tools can be found on the back of the SYNLawn product brochure, located at the SYNLawn display at Lowe's, or online at www.Lowes.com
Step 1 - Prepare the Base - Clear the area of any unwanted grass and roots. Once clear, add a 2-4 inch layer of crushed aggregate until you achieve the desired shape and contour. Work the aggregate with a rake and hand tap until the base is compact ans smooth.
Step 2 - Trim to Size - When the base is ready, position the SYNLawn artificial grass and trim to shape. If using more than one sheet of artificial grass, make sure the grain of the grass fibers point in the same direction.
Step 3 - Glue Together Seams - To seam to pieces of SYNLawn together, align two pieces of artificial grass together, edge to edge. Fold the edges to lay seaming cloth the length of the seam. Secure the seaming cloth. Apply seaming adhesive. Ease the edges back together.
Step 4 - Secure in Place - To secure your SYNLawn, use landscape anchor pins.
Step 5 - Groom Your Grass - Use a landscape rake to rake the fibers and use a hose to rinse your artificial grass.
