Jeff, I enjoyed meeting you in Birmingham a few weeks ago. You are very helpful for new turbine flyers who have lots of questions. This video provided important information that few people talk about on TH-cam. I especially took note of three items you discussed; locktite the retracks, shake out the fuel system and make your first flights at a large grass field. I will follow this advice. Hope to see you again sometime soon.

Hey Jeff, great video series on the 339. I am a new turbine pilot and I started with a Sebart Avanti with K45 which after looking back now I wished I would have started with this plane, actually still might get it when it comes back in stock. You are 110% correct regarding air bubbles and flame-out issues. I have been struggling to get mine to stay running and I believe I finally chased my issue down to a bad UAT, actually not bad but missing UAT filter! It's interesting about mounting the KT filter vertically, I never heard that before. I will definitely be changing my setup.
Very odd comment on the flame outs. Never had this happen to me flying multiple different turbine jets (new and rebuilds from 3kg till 14kg thrust) for 7 years... nice jet none the less. Enjoy
Would be nice if you would actually get them into stock so we can purchase one. Lots of hype, no planes. Same song and dance from Horizon. Tired of waiting, going with a BVM
Wish i could find someone good at doing hinges on the control surfaces thats the only thing keeping me from ordering one i don't trust my hinge work for something like this.

Jeff, do you typically fly with the GSU plugged in and mounted in the plane or do you unplug and pocket the GSU after engine startup?

Will a 100N turbine be ok? As folks say 85N be the max However I already have a 100N engine, so I would like to use it for the Horizon Hobbies MB-339.
