I’ve been saying this the Grammys is a popularity contest. And the give all the awards to the “next hot new thing.” Ex: Billie gets a whole lot of Grammys since she young, hip and everyone likes her. But unfortunately it can’t stay that way forever because more girls are rising and they have to compete. That’s why Olivia is getting all the praise and the rest are slowly being looked over. That’s why these celebs like Ariana and Billie constantly change there styles to stay on top. It’s sad but it’s true.
Every female artist changes their style and sound every era to stay on top because female artist can’t repeat themselves a lot of the time in order to not be disrespected.

2017 Grammys was a great show and entertaining, because at that time there was great perfomers like Beyonce, Bruno Mars, Adele, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Metallica, The Weeknd and daft punk and also a prince tribute from the time
i actually went and listened to the jon batiste record after the grammys and it was REALLY GOOD. wouldn't listen to it more since it aint my style but super solid. also the guy's really likable
Yes, people need to remember the grammys are not a popularity contest (it's about quality, not quantity/chart position (we've billboard music awards for that)). If an artist released a good body of work, then they deserve to win.
I still can't believe Lil Nas X & Billie Eilish went back home with nothing, montero & happier than ever were my songs of the year, Also it seems like every year all these award shows are getting more and more boring, artists are relying on tik tok and social media to promote and many artists don't come anymore to these show even if they are nominated, it's like they don't care.
@@jholetroblesvergara Nope. There were better songs in that category. No shade to Bruno. But this song wasn't the most deserving song to be the "Record" of the year.

Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if Grammy have invited BTS again to the Grammy and doesn’t show up, but then we later see BTS posting selfies and videos of them going to a strawberry farm or somewhere fun. They would totally do that. Heck, RM literally said that “We didn’t come to Vegas for the Grammy, we came to Vegas for army” while they were having their PTD concert in Las Vegas, my guy RM knows that Grammy is using them for views and rating and that the recording academy will give them the same mistreatment again. BTS doesn’t need the Grammy, is Grammy that need BTS and that’s the truth. Win or not, BTS doesn’t need a Grammy award to prove everyone that they’re the legend, cause they’re already a legend and world-breaking record artists and well known artists to everyone all over the world. Grammy can kiss my a$$ cause I’m done of their unfairness and favoritism system.
Bruno Mars actually lost all 6 of his Grammy nominations in 2012 and up to that point he had only 1 Grammy to his name. But since 2016, he has had clean sweep after clean sweep. His road to becoming a Grammy favorite is definitely an interesting one.
I honestly watched the grammys only for BTS. They killed it with their performance despite one member being injured and 2 of them getting out of quarantine only 2 days before the show. It was such a joy to watch them. Such a shame that they didn't win, it would have been historic....but I dont have a problem with it, KMM is a great song. And Jon Bastite gave the best speech of the night☺️
What's even more incredible about BTS performance is they had a lot of setbacks leading to their performance. 1 member injured their finger and had to have surgery 2 weeks before the Grammys. And then 2 other members contracted covid. J-Hope couldn't fly to Las Vegas until he recovered which was 2 days before the Grammys and Jungkook got it after arriving in Las Vegas and his quarantine ended and he tested negative the day before the Grammys. Meaning BTS only had 1 day to rehearse with all 7 members and they said their jackets kept getting tangled so they weren't sure they would be able to pull it off, but they did a great job. So there was a high chance BTS wasn't going to perform with all 7 members (or even at all), but I'm so happy everything worked out. I really hope they win a Grammy someday. I know they say they don't need to win but I know how much it would mean to them. Also if you were blown away by their Grammy performance, that's just a small taste of what they do at Korean Award shows. Check out MMA 2019 where they did a 37 minute performance at an award show.
Honestly speaking I was so impressed by BTS's performance..like many performances were good but the concept n those choreography n all was just chef kiss.. considering they didn't win so they were just a nominee but the amount of attention they grabbed thruout the show was insane! I was so fascinated by them n surely I will look into BTS now😁👍🏼
Yes... even I was so blown away by their performance being an ARMY myself... their music carries some deep meanings ( except English songs.) Their music vedios are connected to a storyline.. through this they tell about mental health, social injustice, self love, anxiety etc ... ( sorry, but just wanted to give a little introduction) 💜
I would suggest you look up 'MMA Idol BTS'. Its still their best live performance for me and probably their most expensive stage yet. For music videos there a lot of good ones but the MV that started blowing them up is Blood, Sweat & Tears.
And that's just a small taste of what they do for Korean award show performances. MMA 2019 is a personal favorite of mine, it's a 37 minute award show performance but it's so worth it. And something else worth mentioning is 1 member of BTS had surgery on their finger 2 weeks before the Grammys and 2 other members had covid and only recovered right before the Grammys, so it was a possibility BTS would have to perform with 5 members or not at all. So BTS only had 1 day to rehearse with all 7 members and they said the majority of the time the jackets would get tangled so they weren't sure if they would be able to pull it off, but they did great. I hope you will check out more of their music and live stages.
I think the Grammys purposefully didn't give Billie or Taylor any awards, cause Billie swept them last year and Taylor already has 3 AOTYs, so they wanted to shine a light on other ppl. But Lil Nas should've won something, especially with that amazing performance
I am happy that Doja and SZA won! I am just annoyed that the Grammys continue to use BTS for views. I feel like the Grammys should have a separate category for groups and collaborations instead of having them in the same category.
I'm definitely happy that Lucky Daye won the Urban Contemporary Album award for Table For Two. Not only is it a short album, each track features a well known r&b female singer (a nod to the title of the album) and it's an overall wonderfully made album.
BTS really carried the performance portion. I loved the song, choreo, and the creativity brought with the theme and including Olivia in the beginning. Do I think they were snubbed for best group? Yeah
keep in mind that boybands don't win grammys tho the only "boybands" that have won are the Beatles (whose "boyband" status is still debated) & Boyz II Men (who are more of a vocal group than "boyband")
Istg HER wins a Grammy every time she’s nominated lmaoo and I’m yet to see what she’s made that’s had such an impact that warrants how critically acclaimed she is? I’m not saying music has to be mainstream to be recognised but it really doesn’t add up or make sense as to how she’s managed to receive so many
I'm not a Billie Eilish fan but I think she deserves even 1 Grammy award with her album , for me Silksonic gave us Best Grammy performance during that night
i personally predicted that bille would not go home with a grammy due to the fact, she has gone home EVERY year for the past like 3 years with atleast 2 grammys with her. she was the "it girl" in a sense, but know the grammys have found someone new and fresh which is olivia which she is gonna have a reign with the grammys for a while
Love the fact that Jazzmine won her Grammy! I listened to her album for hours, over and over again, it’s so real, it’s honest. It doesn’t portray a dream, where in an ideal world everything is good, but it’s about playing games, having fun, getting the bag, being real! It’s soooo good
@@Cutiepeye yeah im ok with that its just that some of them get so toxic sometimes. there's nothing better then an obsessed fan base getting L + ratio'd
"Industry Baby" was robbed, in my opinion. I think Ye got the award just because of the featured artists, not for any reasons regarding the merit of the work itself. (It may also be that the powers that be are trying to win The Weeknd over, as they know how huge he is, and having him hate The Grammys is not good for them.) But Lil Nas X and Jack Harlow gave excellent performances and should have been recognized for them. Their vocal performances are really what made "Industry Baby" such a special song and collaboration, so to me, the loss seems ridiculous.
Pretty sure a lot of song from Donda is already high regarded by many from the music community (Off The Grid, Hurricane, Life of the Party) so I don't know what you're saying here........ I would be happier if I see Lil Nas won it I guess but discrediting Kanye for his own song where he probably worked the most is such a weird attitude.... regardless of what kind of person Kanye is
As someone who liked most of the songs in the category it probably unfortunately came down to politics. Even tho it’s messed up people prob didn’t vote for Lil Nas X cuz he’s gay, and even tho imo wusyaname was the best, they prob chose Kanye cuz of the recognition of the name, plus one of the biggest musicians in the world rn was featured on the song (the weeknd). I wouldn’t have been mad if any of those three got it tbh
Honestly at this point the Grammy's are really running off the artists saying how important it is. I truly believe that fans of artists wouldn't care unless the artist themselves are excited for it. It really shows that the industry emphasizes on such superficial things like a Grammy when it's so obvious the award doesn't change much, if not anything at all. What's crazy is that more and more artists are going against them, especially bigger artists. I wouldn't be surprised if there becomes a wave of everyone wanting to disassociate from the Grammys for a plethora of reasons.
Honestly, they should’ve had different winners for Record & Song of the Year. I’m both surprised and not surprised Bieber, one of the most nominated artists of the night, went home completely empty handed. Justice and it’s tracks had no business in the major categories. Evermore should’ve taken Justice’s nomination spot. The first hour of the show was the most exciting, but that was because they had Olivia, BTS, Billie, Lil Nas X & Silk Sonic.
Literally Justice did 10x more than what Evermore did so I don't understand how you think he was undeserving of his nominations. People are STILL listening to Justice to this day, which shows it longevity. Nobody was listening to evermore except taylor fans.
@@Emily-yl7eh And quality is subjective? If a ton of people like something it literally means it's of good quality. Justice is being enjoyed not just in America, so you can't say it's not of quality when he's bringing the album to be enjoyable to multiple groups of people.

watching your channel for a long time I believe this the first time you mentioned BTS and it kinda matches with what a Korean critic said this year. he mentioned how grammys are a popularity contest amongst the industry/jury and their capabilities have been overlooked since a long time. in 2019 they featured for just 10 seconds, in 2020 they performed online but this was the first time ppl actually got a taste of what a bts performance looks like live(even though this doesn't even come close to their best) but it sure did what it was supposed to, atleast some eyes turned EDIT: because I know that none of their Korean music is ever gonna get nominated in any American award show I'm happy that they atleast performed whatever the language is

I love Doja to bits but I skip half the album on a good day, Hot Pink was far superior imo and I feel like Planet Her wasn’t deep enough to win a grammy, Positions too if you get me? I love Positions as well but there was no like deep subject matter type stuff for them to win I think.
I feel like bruno mars is a nostalgia act. He doesn't do anything original, just brings back older artist's styles, wether it be Michael Jackson, James Brown, Earth Wind & Fire etc. Literally everything he does can be directly traced back to another artist. He's basically a tribute act at this point. So it makes sense that the grammy voters, a bunch of old people who are probably nostalgic about the industry back in the day, are favoring his music.
Agree But I really liked Bruno back in the early 2010’s when he had his own sound like Billionaire , locked out of heaven , 24k , uptown funk ( but that song sounded nostalgic) but still he has some good songs that you can call original to him

Haha “Learners Permit by Olivia Rodrigo”, also I’ll never get over the fact Sza lost best new artist to Alessia Cara in 2017 when Alessia Cara already was active in year 2015.
I'm so proud of Doja Cat and SZA winning Best Duo, they earned that. Kiss Me More is my favourite summer song. Olivia Rodrigo earned her wins too, I was banking on her given her critical acclaim with Sour. It's a perfect debut album, in fact it reminded me of Avril Lavigne's Let Go and the impact it had.
All AOTY nominees are equally deserving. However I feel like the Grammys awarded Jon Batiste, so as to prevent any backlash after what they did with Abel. @@shiningnightmare5616 In 2019 a debut album (by Billie Eilish) won. Nobody slammed it for being a legacy award unfairly won then (they were just tripping over the fact that Eilish pretty much swept the grammy's). Anyways, that's the point though. It *should* not be a legacy award. Even though awarding art (at this level where most nominees are technically pretty solid) is subjective, it should still be fair. It's an album of the year. There are plenty of other awards for recognising legacy artists. I don't see why mainstream success should be a factor for grammy's either. I get that it's been the point of them for a long time, but it SHOULD not. Why slam them for getting on track for once. If mainstream success was a factor, then it would be pretty unfair. How would newer names ever be recognised? Not every great artist has the additional luck factor that's also worked in favour of people like Rodrigo and Eilish. And nobody "needs" the Grammy's. In fact a lot of mainstream artists who are basically handed nominations (and sometimes, wins) need them even less than Batiste. Finally, you could say that better people deserve awards every time. There's no limit to how GOOD something can be yk. I can point out 10 amazing albums for every single good Taylor Swift album. Doesn't make it unfair that she won. It just means that that year, the academy decided to award it to her. It's talent, plus luck. We don't need to get our leggings in a bunch every time somebody other than the biggest names in the world get awards.
@@someoneyouprobablyknowandl9964 I'm not saying mainstream success needs to be a factor of consideration But to me, if you can't get a critical acclaim (which once again, Tyler, Jazmine, and Yola have achieved), at least mainstream success would be a nice consideration factor. At least I can see why Grammy would pick an album that is selling million copies worldwide or something But I don't remember that Jon Batiste record to be really achieving both of them, not really critically or commercially The only publication I remember putting his album on their year end list were probably Rolling Stone.... But the deal with Rolling Stone is that, they also love giving legacy award/appreciation regardless wether the work actually reflect artist's work at their prime or not (They did this with U2, Metallica, and maybe Adele) I think it would be nicer to give it to actually more deserving projects that could at least fill one of those factor (and luckily we do have albums from artists that fill both factors that also got a grammy nods, 'Heaux Tales', 'Montero', 'Stand For Myself', 'Vulture Prince', 'Jubilee', 'Call Me When...') And I get it, it's cool to see a diversifying representation on the Grammys and it does sounds bitter assuming his win to be just Grammys trying to be nice and stuff But their effort seems pretty..... tiring and uninspiring.... It feels like a win that is pretty forgettable and probably wouldn't be remembered much by anybody 5 years later... But whatever I guess, at the end of the day it is what it is and anything wouldn't change the fact that he won either I won't say I'm angry but legacy award assumption is certainly not that much of a strecth (also check : this year's Rock and Metal nomination)

But unfortunately it can’t stay that way forever because more girls are rising and they have to compete. That’s why Olivia is getting all the praise and the rest are slowly being looked over. That’s why these celebs like Ariana and Billie constantly change there styles to stay on top. It’s sad but it’s true.
Soooooo trueeeee and maybe that will happen to Olivia soon. She had a big debut but who knows if that happens the next time
Every female artist changes their style and sound every era to stay on top because female artist can’t repeat themselves a lot of the time in order to not be disrespected.

Maybe BTS shouldn't submit anything to the GRAMMYS next time...

Yes... even I was so blown away by their performance being an ARMY myself... their music carries some deep meanings ( except English songs.) Their music vedios are connected to a storyline.. through this they tell about mental health, social injustice, self love, anxiety etc ...

But Lil Nas X and Jack Harlow gave excellent performances and should have been recognized for them. Their vocal performances are really what made "Industry Baby" such a special song and collaboration, so to me, the loss seems ridiculous.
I love Industry Baby (a lot, I'm a band geek lmao), but I do think Hurricane was definitely a solid enough contender to win on its own merits.

In 2019 a debut album (by Billie Eilish) won.
@@someoneyouprobablyknowandl9964 I'm not saying mainstream success needs to be a factor of consideration
But to me, if you can't get a critical acclaim (which once again, Tyler, Jazmine, and Yola have achieved), at least mainstream success would be a nice consideration factor. At least I can see why Grammy would pick an album that is selling million copies worldwide or something
But I don't remember that Jon Batiste record to be really achieving both of them, not really critically or commercially
The only publication I remember putting his album on their year end list were probably Rolling Stone.... But the deal with Rolling Stone is that, they also love giving legacy award/appreciation regardless wether the work actually reflect artist's work at their prime or not (They did this with U2, Metallica, and maybe Adele)
I think it would be nicer to give it to actually more deserving projects that could at least fill one of those factor (and luckily we do have albums from artists that fill both factors that also got a grammy nods, 'Heaux Tales', 'Montero', 'Stand For Myself', 'Vulture Prince', 'Jubilee', 'Call Me When...')
And I get it, it's cool to see a diversifying representation on the Grammys and it does sounds bitter assuming his win to be just Grammys trying to be nice and stuff
But their effort seems pretty..... tiring and uninspiring.... It feels like a win that is pretty forgettable and probably wouldn't be remembered much by anybody 5 years later...
But whatever I guess, at the end of the day it is what it is and anything wouldn't change the fact that he won either
I won't say I'm angry but legacy award assumption is certainly not that much of a strecth (also check : this year's Rock and Metal nomination)
Idk how collaborations are considered under best pop group\duo though
Everyone keeps saying big award shows like the Oscar’s and Grammys are boring, but I feel like younger generations just don’t care about the “prestige” awards anymore. We like what we like and don’t care about a faceless academy opinion, especially when there’s no reasoning or data to back up their winners most of the time.
i’m very much in the minority when i say silk sonic deserved their wins. that collaboration was huge last year as they pumped up amazing tracks that went along with the album (tho it went through a bit of production hell). it placed anderson .paak on the maps and with bruno it’s just something magical, i feel like the got snubbed at grammys are making up for the manny times they snubbed .paak and mars (except the 24k magic sweep, seesh)
Jon deserved the Grammy
He represented new Orleans and the beauty of black culture in a time where there seems to be an agenda to push hyper sexual, stupid music in mainstream culture, but especially in black pop culture. This was a win for the world.
Love his album. Seriously, ppl who haven’t listened to it shouldn’t complain. He deserves it and gave the BEST speech of the night
Yes , preach. I knew he was going to win when I first saw the nominations . I was right 😎
@@Kevin-rg3yc so rappers like Megan the stallion cardi b and cupcake are just as important for the culture ? Love when people have standards it called being holier than tho. I'll be that, rather be that than someone who pretends like Megan the stallion rapping about riding a d* is something positive and inspiring in black culture. Keep applauding the degradation of black culture. I'll keep being "holier than tho" also I'm from Louisiana so try it elsewhere.
Silk sonic deserve every grammy!
This Grammy season had me beyond tired of Olivia
Don't you love Bruno Mars? "Leave the Door Open" deserves all the awards please. I totally love this year's show. It was less controversial and awards were given to those who deserved it, though I wish Justin Bieber wasn't snubbed. Bieber has been doing greatly and the hate on him is totally undeserved. Generally, it was a good show.
omg exactly! I agree with you. Leave the door open deserved all and Justin did amazing this year. He stepped out of his comfort zone and Justice is his best album. people hate him still it's so stupid
I agree with the first half of ur statement 🕳👨🦯
I don't agree with Leave The Door Open being safe, at least not as the end of the discussion. Yes, Leave The Door Open was HUGE, making it a pretty safe track to choose, but ending the conversation there ignores that they released a risky song that had a lot of complexity to it that doesn't normally translate well for mainstream audiences. It's a well crafted song that definitely deserved its wins.
This is the only music related channel I always come back to 🤣
i'm pretty sure everyone expected this year BTS to win, their song and Doja ft SZA's were the stronger ones, safe to say that the backlash to the girls wasn't as terrible as last year with Rain On Me
Because KMM was a front runner, everyone knew it would be a deserved win.
I am sorry to say this but Rain on Me wasn't a strong choice last year and the Grammys still gave that award to it.
Even this year, people thought Gaga was winning it again just for her name
A lot of us armys wanted Doja to win if BTS didn't
I havent seen any armys mad doja won, just mad bts lost. last year people were mad because rain on me literally sucks lmfao
@@percyseas girl where have you been lol, I’ve seen immature army’s all over the internet being the worst to those two, even being plain out racist towards them
@@vickybabadoo9927 And have seen heaps of troll western stans be racist and absolutely vile towards bts because army were upset about the way the grammy's used them. And when army claps back we're the bad ones. You seem to have an awfully biased view here.
0:38 him flipping his hair played backwards is the best thing ive seen all day 💀
Well Some artists who were invited doesn't need a Grammy but Grammy needs them
Lmfaoooo @ “Learner’s Permit”
jon batiste may be unknown to us but have been an inspiration to artists (specifically SZA said it).
and tbh i think the grammys did more things right this year instead of being problematic (still shady and wrong for what they’ve done)
and also that maybe it wouldnt be so boring if people paid attention to other categories and focus on discovering music in general instead of only watching it for popular artists…
@@slystone4892 can you show me some examples of the songs you’re thinking of? because I don’t know many/didn’t know that

Billie deserved at least one grammy tbh
She has like 6 Grammys already, I’m sure she’s ok
@@Miscellaneous_master but about the actual effort i think she deserved 1
@@Miscellaneous_master then whoever has already won a grammy is not allowed to win ?? Then why even nominate them huh
the other songs that won was just too good tbh
@@stevenforthree true
I disagree this year's category selection!!! Some nominees truly deserve to win, especially Billie.
Im so proud of doja and sza for winning but I honestly still can’t get over how sza didn’t earn a grammy for ctrl
Also i believe planet her should’ve won album of the year the album have just about no skips and i never seen someone say the album was mediocre 💀
Same planet her was legendary deserved to win
The versatility of that album makes it’s album of the year worthy
She should’ve gotten one last year for Hot Pink
@@Miscellaneous_master shoulda gotten one for existing tbh
I agree Planet Her deserved a Grammy but no skips? Have you HEARD Payday and Love to Dream? 💀
the grammy’s are getting less and less interesting every year
Billie should have won one Grammy at least
I think its because she won so much last time and she got dragged for it weeks after
No
I believe Record of the year should’ve went to Lil Nas X for ‘Montero’ & album of the year should’ve went to ‘Happier Than Ever’ by Billie Eilish. It still shocks me that both artists went home empty handed that night. However I’m so glad Olivia, SZA, Doja, & silk sonic went home with awards
THE DESERVING ARTISTS WERE ROBBED!!!
Exactly Justice> Sour
@@journalshours3524 me when i’m in denial
i just can't express how happy i am that jazmine is getting the recognition she deserves❤️
Unless 2022 is a banner year for music, Silk Sonic is sweeping next year, just watch.
You reversing Anderson's wig flips 😂😂😂
I don't really like Grammys awards and other music awards like Billboard. Those award shows don't really define who's the best artist or who has the best music.
I know we say this every year, but this year grammys felt like nothing happened. They just came and went.
I think silk comic deserved the record. I can see why they went with them in the song but you could've made a case for some of the hear somewhere else.
Not going to lie I'm glad Hurricane won the Grammy, that song is absolutely amazing and the part before Kanye raps where The Weeknd sings gives me chills
BTS grammy is over due at this point, if you pay attention to their work they have been elligible since 2018. I feel like they don't pay attention to their work but nominate and invite them for the views only. Which is sad.
ARMYS may think so, but it seems GRAMMYS don't agree.
@@EverRoxas well, grammy has a history of snubbing some eligible artists that go back to Michael Jackson and Mariah Carey days. And so far only 1 boyband has won grammy Boyz 2 men, despite having a history of numerous impactful and successful boy bands like the Jackson 5, and Backstreet boys. Grammy is just biased.
Kiss me more deserved song of the year it's still very much played and loved by the people. Let's be honest leave the door open came and went within a few months
Happier than Ever was the record of the year!
i honestly stopped caring about new artists years ago
Im truly happy for how it went but i still feel like Evermore deserved recognition and i strongly believe it will be a classic 20 years from now. Maybe it's my limited knowledge of the music landscapre nowadays but that album felt out of this world.
"Learner’s Permit" is the Prequel to Driver's License ahahahahaha
not LEARNER'S PERMIT by Olivia Rodrigo 😭😭😭
i’m sorry but olivia be giving kids bop
Doja cat deserved more than one grammy especially since they snubbed her last year with 'Say So'
BTS were robbed once again. They saved the grammys with their james bond inspired performance.
They were snubbed and hybe need to sack off the academy. They deserve better
Edit:Just saying but this is my personal opinion.I do just hope next year they finally win a grammy as I do believe that BTS deserve it. I have no hate to those who did win
What have their performance to do with the quality of the song ☠️ i love bts but the Grammys only use them for attention because all those English music didn't even deserve a nomination
No thanks ma’am, this doesn’t even hold up with other music they’ve put out before.
@@daffo595 yeah but kiss me more is a simple fun pop song as well. expecting BTS to serve more deep and meaningful songs to win it’s like holding them to a higher standard
@@yasdaiana kiss me more won over butter because of the production that's it and the combination of sza's vocals and doja's rap in butter the vocals of the members didn't even fit the song especially V and jimin (whatever happened to his voice in recent combacks) and some of them didn't get lines Jhope
I adore Bts but let’s be real they were just used for views
Lil Nas X being snubbed was interesting. They played it very safe this year. I can only see the interest in the Grammy's decreasing even more by next year. They seem so out of touch with their audience.
“learners permit by Olivia Rodrigo” I wASNT EXPECTING THAT LMFAOOO
Billie deserved something for Happier than Ever.
The guy who won album of the year I never even heard of him.
Welcome to the club. And that's no disrespect to Jon Batiste because he seems like a really good musician and a great guy. But when I heard he got the most nominations I was like who? Some people knew him from being the band leader on the Stephen Colbert show but I think in general most people never heard of him. But I'm happy for him and his wife his battling leukemia for the 2nd time so I hope all goes well for them.
I don't think he deserved it but never heard of ≠ bad music
You sounds like a salty pop stan
Only watched BTS’s performance in Grannys.
My personal album of the year was Happier than ever, but I still think the winners deserved their awards.
Just because folklore won doesn't mean evermore shouldn't win. The lyrics of the album were too powerful, I knew it wouldn't win but I was really hoping it would...
i agree with everything you just said
Same I agree
evermore was not as strong as the other albums in that category.

Leave the Door Open is a better song than Happier than Ever. It also didn't help that Happier didn't really connect with most people.
Connected with many people actually, the song is something so many people can relate to. Have you even heard the song or are you just saying this ?
@@non_conformist4229 Yes I've heard the song. It was boring and underwhelming for such a hyped song. Yes it connected to people but nowhere near as much as bad guy or Leave the Door Open did.

i'm surprised planet her didn't win a grammy
They still forgot to give Mariah Carey her Icon and Outstanding Achievements award. They stay being the Scammys in my book.
Im really happy for Doja and SZA but also dissappointed at the grammys for using BTS once again and making them feel like they didn't win bc they didn't work hard enough which is not true. But atleast they got their first live performance at the grammys and they ate that up😌.
