The only reason I'm upset as I am is because they promised "diverse" "boundary pushing" "unexpected" nominations, and then went as basic as you could possibly get, and completely ignored all the Latin successes and BTS' successes, and then snubbed Halsey and Taylor, even though they were EVERYWHERE this year, and broke COUNTLESS records

Artists submit their songs for possible Grammy nomination. Ariana and her team chose to submit 7 Rings instead of Thank U, Next. They must’ve thought it was stronger/had a better chance of winning. Just FYI 🙂

HUNGER GAMES Right? She put so much work into it. The complexity of the lyrics is awesome! Every song has a great story to it. She explores all corners of music types and styles in this album. There’s so much more I can say, but I’m not going to get into it now.

I thought the concept of the album was interesting, especially the very dark first half of the album but personally I don’t think it was the best from her. The style of music didn’t match her for me. I’m much happier with lover but would have preferred if it was a bit shorter and cut out songs like “me” and “you need to calm down”.

Nely Silva ya I agree. I think reputation was a necessary album for her to regain her reputation after the whole Kanye and Kim thing and I really liked how different it was to anything she has ever done before. She’s always reinventing herself. That’s why she has stayed relevant for so long.

And that Album became the 2nd biggest Crtical acclaimed behind Lana del Rey "Norman fckng Rockwell". Don't forget Lover used to be in #1 spot before Lana releases her album. So technically Lover received a quality but also received some quantity (sales,streams,chart,etc) that means they snubbed Lover era so hard

boyfriend did hit the Top 10 (At No. 8) in the Billboard Hot 100 at it's success debut before slowly week after week it falloff... I guess that's how it get to the Grammy Awards despite that even Dancing with a Stranger is still on Chart for months now and it didn't even get nominated (That goes to show next to Happier, Sunflower and Without Me that have been sticking the Billboard)
Lil Nas X... 7 EP is not that hard to figure out how it got nominated for Album of the Year (I've been pay attention to Billboard 200, Artist 100 and Billboard Hot 100)
7 EP hit the Top 10 (At No. 2) in the Billboard 200 and sold well for weeks that it's stick around for months now and Old Town Road and Panini did have it's huge success in the Top 10 Billboard Hot 100
So it's kinda possible and make sense that Lil Nas X would be nominated for Album of the Year especially the Controversial of Old Town Road... Like This Is America (It won 4 Grammy with This Is America so let's see if Lil Nas X do the same as well or not)

Trench deserved grammys or at least a few nominations. Grammys snubbed TØP so hard
1. I don't know how Without Me is not nominated
2. Trench was released in October 2018 so it should have a chance to even at least nominated!!!
3. The Search is NF Worst Album... My least favorite Album from NF even though all his three album is great but The fourth one is kinda not good

BTS didn't deserve anything ngl. Of all their work this 7-song EP had little impact in the US, certainly not enough to make an impact with the voters at the Grammys. No hate, but that's just how the Grammy's work and I guess it's unfortunate but BTS are getting plenty of recognition at the bbmas, amas, kcas, tcas, pcas and vmas.

Excuse but why there are not any mentions about Little Mix in Song of the Year. I mean Woman Like Me was and it still is a HUGE bop. I feel pretty disappointed about Grammys 2020, hopefully next year a lot of artists who doesn´t have a nomination this year ( Little Mix, Halsey and Panic! at the Disco) could have a Grammy in 2021 but idk its just a fan´s opinion
The thing is, the Grammys can't nominate albums/songs that weren't submitted. As as far we know, Little Mix's label (both in UK and US) didn't submit anything, otherwise we would've seen promo campaigns for them like all other artists. Like, the girls are under Columbia Records in the US, just like BTS and I saw the campaigns they did for the boys and their other acts. But none for them. And it was also pointed that LM5 still belongs to Syco, so neither the girls or RCA can't use shit without their permission. Other than that, I totally agree that Halsey and P!ATD should've been nominated. We always expect the noms to be better next year, but I won't get my hopes up.

I believe the artist have until September-ish (August 31st) to release and submit their music to be considered for nominations so she would have had to release it in like August or something to be recognized at all, Demi released Tell me you love me on the very last day last year and even tho she managed to submit it it wasn't considered cause that couldn't really evaluate the success of the record.
