She wore shoes twice. One was the venue and the other was this. She recently did a song at a RR station and took her shoes off when she performed live.
For the latest train station performance " bohemian rhapsody " she kept shoes on .
in the coffee club... it was the rules of the establishment to wear shoes... legal stuff I guess. AND the stage was really cluttered up, easy to cut up of foot with all that tangle mess of stamped metal music stands and wot not.
OMG . . . I'm waiting time after time for new Originals from her; and I'm so happy again. In this song I hear a mix of Adele and Amy Winehouse in her voice - absolutely perfect. We must invent a word to describe her with one word, Phenomenal is far away and understated to describe. Every time, hearing her singing, her voice, i am floating and i forgot my pains and my worries for these moments and can smile for a short time.

Love the new music! Just a point that you mentioned about Angelina not always being barefoot anymore. Angelina has made a commitment to not wear shoes for the rest of her life whenever she performs. However, now that she is doing more complex things, there are certain venues or environments where wearing shoes is needed or mandated. Those are the only few times that she wears them whilel performing
Angelina has not left her Jazz roots - she performs jazz and blues in concert and incorporates Jazz elements into many of her newer songs - in fact, the Jazz version of Bad Valentine is coming out on October 4th, 2024.

Like most artists Angelina started with covers. Of course most other artists don’t start releasing music at age 8 like Angelina did. She has been writing songs since she was about 10 and had said that she has written over 100. To date 13 have been officially released with more already recorded and some performed live only at her recent concerts.
I think from now on we will be hearing more originals from Angelina than cabers as she continues to write. In the last year and a half she has released 9 songs (not including her Christmas EP). Only one cover out of those 9, If I Were a Boy, which she was asked to sing for Toby Gad’s album.

Angelina is a multiple talented singer over a lot of genres. This is more poppy but at the 10 th this month they will release a more jazzy version in the piano diaries project of Toby Gad. The teaser looks awesome 👍😎

This song was actually recorded two years ago but is finally being released. There is a story about all that. Therefore the song was recorded at the same time as the songs on her EP that was released last year.
The video however was shot recently so we are seeing an 18 year old Angelina but listening to her at 16.
Nice reaction guys! In regards to her wearing shoes, it's more of a safety thing or a venue's own rules. She recently had a sold out concert in L.A. and she was performing barefoot. She mentioned in a interview a while ago that she wanted to try to fuse old school sound with today's music sounds. With a good number of her originals, she is definitely doing it! This video was shot along Mulholland Drive in the L.A. area. Coming October 4th, she and Toby Gad are releasing a Piano Diaries version of this song and it is really different. We got a tease of it and it was really Jazzy! We Angels can't wait for it! Her collaboration with Toby Gad has been such a blessing.

Don't jump to conclusions - Angelina wears gowns when performing her concerts - she is also very fashion-conscious.

Angelina and Toby and Charolotte Jane wrote this song when she was 16 years old! During the concert Toby talked about it! This was filmed on Mulholland Drive-you don’t want to go barefoot there believe me-in L.A. this was on an unprepared surface so the shoes are more of a safety concern! Toby actually filed this! Republic Records did not sponsor this, this is Toby’s production company! She sings barefoot on stage take a look at her recent concerts and she has stated it is part of her identity and will always perform that way! She has always had major influence on the production of her work!

You guys have no idea how appropriate the term "completely blind" is especially today. 😉
As for the change thing, I have the impression that you are not reacting enough to current Angelina and are therefore coming to not applicable conclusions.
This video and the street walk video are the only pop-mainstream ones, the huge variability in style and genre is still there, as are the shoes that take a break during the stage performances.
Maybe you should watch some (not just one) of the videos from her last concert in Glendale a few days ago if you want to understand what I mean.

You will see more of the old bare foot Angelina if you watch her shows. What I think of this newer music? Its too loud and have a irritating beat. Her first live version of this song with only 3 instruments was more intense and raw for me.

Why Angelina wears shoes in some places?
This video was shut on the hills over looking a part of of Los Angeles where some people go to enjoy the beauty and romance of the night. This area is covered with gravel and, unfortunately, with broken pieces of glass (there are irresponsible people throughout the world); the Barefoot Angel is smart not to appear barefoot at this location.
Also, when Angelina appears with shoes in certain places, she obeys the U.S. OSHA Regulations (Google it) which requires proper clothing and shoes in places like restaurants, bars, hospitals, factories, etc., as a preventive measure for protecting the health and safety of people. If establishments violet OSHA Regulations, hefty fines will be imposed on them.
