Where are manufacturers getting their info regarding people actually liking touch screens all over the place? I absolutely cannot fathom how a person would prefer a touch screen to a dial or button in regards to climate controls and seat adjustments...
I know how you feel, I can’t even imagine trying to faff with a touch screen, taking my eyes off the road when I just simply want feel for the button to change the airflow...

I might be biased but this "coupé" SUV looks quite handsome (compared to X6), the roofline & its height it's just in the right proportion 👌🏼i so like the interior it's slick & modern, but still imma stick with my statement that in general "Coupé" SUVs are stupid.
@Cave Edico there's a few main reasons, 1st the proportion it's so awkward (look at the bmw x4, x6, or tesla model x), 2nd you don't get the practicality of a suv because of the roofline cuts the rear seats & boot space, 3rd people who bought coupe wanted a low driving position which again you don't get that in those vehicle because it's suv

The Audi Q8 is a beautiful SUV. I like the fact that the Q8 is very spacious in the back and have two USB ports and a 12 volt jack. the dashboard and the infotainment of the Q8 are awesome. the Q8 design is gorgeous. I like the fact that the Q8 four wheels turned when you make a turned.
Lucky enough to have been able to buy one of these. Went shopping for a Q7 but a Q8 was in the showroom next to it. It was like seeing a pretty woman at a party and thinking ‘you have to come home with me tonight’. Unlike previous situations when this thought has crossed my mind, this one did.
Frameless doors. I had these on one of my cars and I wasn't a fan. When the doors are closed (most of the time) you can't even tell they're there and when its frosty or icy, they can stick. This is really unnerving when you want to open the door in winter and they can't slide up/down that little bit that they're supposed to so that they can fit the seals. If anything they are now something that I would avoid on a car. Great review though, keep them coming!

I know the voice commands work for the heated seats on my A6. I ordered a Q8 yesterday so will find out in a few months if it works on a Q8. Saying "Set heated seats to level 3" usually does the job!
Yes, it does save money, but it's more complicated than that. By using fake exhausts, manufacturers can, for example, use different rear bumper designs without needing to change the design of the exhaust system. For example, the S-line and non S-line versions of the Q8 will have different bumper designs but use the same exhaust layout. Also, many cars that have minor rear-end collisions will just need to replace the rear bumpers and not the entire exhaust system (dependant on the damage of course). There are also other factors related to thermodynamics/physics, but I don't know too much on that but I am sure you can research it if you are really interested. In the end, it is cost saving and really doesn't make much of a difference, to be honest. You might think the fake exhausts look ugly, but a potential buyer might not care at all about the fake exhausts. It is just aesthetics, and there are significantly more important factors to consider when buying a car than how the exhaust system looks. If they can save money whilst not negatively impacting sales, then why not do it?

Mat you say that the automatic gearbox has a delay, you said this about the volvo’s as well but pretty much every normal automatic car has a delay like that except for the ones that use ZF gearboxes. Everyone who drives an auto knows that you dont floor it immediately when you see a gap, just press the pedal down in a linear way and the car will respond just fine and quick enough to get in the gap.
