Cool! This is the product I will be installing on my 1982 Yamaha sr 250, with an upgrade to a Mosfet rectifier designed for the bike to support lithium battery technology.

I used 3M double sided tape to mount mine. Works great

Im gonna try one. Got a new battery in my r1 and it still wont start on a cool morning with out the charger. My other r1 did it to. Im hoping one of these will fix it

good luck. Hopefully its not something else. like a parasitic draw or something draining your battery at night.

Its carbed to so that doesnt help. It seems like it needs a bigger battery . Before i spend 250 on one of these do you think itd work better than a 100 dollar power sonic battery

@@stephenmacdonald912 depends...when you say its hard to start without a charger do you mean like a jump start? and does it struggle to crank quickly or is it that it cranks the starter at the correct speed but it just takes a lot of cranking to get the engine to fire up?

The bike runs awsome its just like the battery only holds enough juice for one good crank. No second chance cold. If i ride it up the road its fine. My 99 r1 did the same thing. I thought it was the bike. I replaced the voltage reg and stator it still did it. Im thinkin they need a huffyer battery

@@stephenmacdonald912 well then hopefully a bigger battery is all you need. Id go with a standard case battery from Antigravity. No modifications to fit it.

So far not at all. Even in this cold maryland weather. Do keep in mind this is a racing 300cc bike with very little demand so the smallest battery is just fine. A larger bike with headlight and whatnot will require a slightly larger lith-ion from antigravity.

@@nickbuchananracing do u think i could get by with a custom 96 Honda helix with this battery? All the lights will be led so battery is just starting it basically and then there to keep it running but power draw should be minimal

@@logenmussmann4489 Depends on how many cc's the engine is. Antigravity recommends the AG401 battery, the one I used, for street driven motorcycles up to 250cc or for race bikes with no lights for up to 600cc. if that is a 250cc engine with low current draw, should be okay. Their website is helpful to figure that stuff out if you need there are links in the description.
