AMAZING MOVIE, even though we know the outcome, I still got the goose bumps, and shivers. I cried a lot watching this film, amazing to see when a community stands together. Hope these boy's are living a fantastic life.
TOO ADD ON, the description, and everything that was shown was spot on with what actually happen. When the boys were found they were wearing red jerseys, and the pipes the community use for the water all that, thank you for taking your time and showcasing this story
12:14 that is one of the reasons why james acting is so good ..... he always tries to be like the real character ... I mean he puts him self in the character place... he does it research about it too .... love ya jmj ❤
The movie opens following the boys as they gleefully run to the cave, and I can’t quite explain the slow building dread I genuinely felt watching them. It was a drawn out, tense moment even though you know what’s going to happen. In fact, knowing is what made it worse. I really applaud the whole team that made the film. They beautifully executed so many technical things that make this movie genuinely gripping.
It's interesting to listen to Howard break things down in this way-he's illustrating how effective leaders act in a team scenario. I generally find his films schmaltzy, they're just not for me, but I appreciate the way he shows how flexible he is. He mentions not giving too much instruction to his DP, for example, and describes why he admires the guy's skill. Effective leaders build teams of people they greatly respect and therefore trust to make their own decisions. The true talent of a leader is knowing when to step back and let the team do their thing, all while keeping an eye on the big picture. He is EXCITED by team members who have skill and talent he does not, and he nurtures them and guides them to using that talent to maximum effect. Bad leaders are THREATENED by team members who have skill and talent they themselves do not. Leadership is not about maintaining control. It's about knowing when and how to hand control over to others, but maintaining ownership of the ultimate outcome.
So real, honest, brutally raw, yet dramatic enough to keep the viewer engaged. Excellent movie. I never sit through long movies. And I really don't like watching movies with languages I don't understand. But this has all the elements to keep me on the edge of my seat start to finish. I ran out of tissues! I never realized just how scary this situation was when I heard about it on the news
Gripping film. Massively enjoyed it. As a diver myself it was extremely tense at many relatable points. Beautifully directed. I love the Thai people and their land so much
I saw the film at a theater with a screening with the cast. It was the most amazing, stressful experience of the year but so worth it! See in theaters!

Incredibly shot, amazing story even if you know the outcome, you don't know the details and how everyone helped to achieve this miracle Including ordinary villagers, it's amazing!
Ron Howard has nailed how to make a movie. And very eloquent when it comes to explaining it. Also, refreshingly humble. He says "in my opinion" as if his opinion isn't hard fought and won :)
I watched this film last night before bed and couldn’t sleep after it. I was so on edge after that I was wide awake after. Great film dedicated to some real life heroes.

This was very satisfying. Such an incredible movie, maybe the best I’ve seen in the last 2-3 years, and it was great to learn so much about how it was made.
This movie was excellent. The thing that struck me most was the sound design. That muffled metal-on-rock sound of the tanks scraping added so much to the feeling of claustrophobia.
I'm glad to have seen this just a few days after watching the movie. Ron Howard is a master at making these kinds of scenes come true. You would think it is impossible, but he did it. The set was so believable that even I was tricked into thinking it was real. All of the actors did a tremendous job especially the Thai boys. I'm sure for the Thai boys, making this movie had be a honor to tell the story of those who were trapped in the cave and to represent their country. The underwater scenes make me so nervous. In the past I have done both caving and diving, but never cave diving. After watching this movie I never will. The amount of anxiety I felt during those scenes was overwhelming.
The realism is amazing. It adds authenticity to the movie. Also, I'm not surprised that Viggo Mortensen asked to do all his diving scenes himself and not use a stunt double. The guy's a legend, so as Ron Howard.

Oh wow great breakdown he is so passionate and sincere love this
It's interesting to listen to Howard break things down in this way-he's illustrating how effective leaders act in a team scenario.
I love the Thai people and their land so much
Thank you so much for your kindest words. 🙏🇹🇭💕
OMG he is so smart I could listen to him talk for hours, Bryce is so lucky to have his as a father!
so nice to have a proper director directing a proper movie with proper actors and crew. these have been sorely missed as of late.
Beautiful film, great performances, a tremendous team effort. Hope it wins lots of awards.
Ron is so professional and skilled at what he does
I saw the film at a theater with a screening with the cast. It was the most amazing, stressful experience of the year but so worth it! See in theaters!
For me,
I was 10 years in Thaïland for sport, I know a little the Thai culture.
This Moovie is the best of the years and far away.
Run for the Oscars 🙏
Ron Howard, you are a genius 🙏
Fascinating movie. Thanks, Ron. It really needed to be made. Virgo and Colin were great. The whole thing was just scary and perfect.
As someone who has Thai blood and has spent years living in Thailand, thank you for telling this story.
I saw the film twice. Yesterday and today. It just blows my mind. The film is incredible as the real history of it is. Those english man are a real herores, and of course the others ones than helped with the rescue mission. I love Viggo and Collin in this film !
He really turned out to be an outstanding director. Always been a good guy.
One of the great movies this year. Glad I watched it yesterday.
Incredibly shot, amazing story even if you know the outcome, you don't know the details and how everyone helped to achieve this miracle Including ordinary villagers, it's amazing!
That set design was so convincing we were sure it was all location shooting. Oscar-worthy.
Ron Howard has nailed how to make a movie. And very eloquent when it comes to explaining it.
Also, refreshingly humble. He says "in my opinion" as if his opinion isn't hard fought and won :)
Dang, I had no idea a movie directed by Ron starring Viggo even existed! Now there's something I wanna watch ASAP!
I think you accomplished all those goals at the end Ron. I had so much anxiety throughout this film, it was that engaging. Great story, great job 👏🏼
I watched this film last night before bed and couldn’t sleep after it. I was so on edge after that I was wide awake after. Great film dedicated to some real life heroes.
This is really a great source of insight. Thank you so much for that 🙏.... Can anybody share his or her view on how they most probably approach on-set sound & dialogues recording?
Ron Howard is the best of of best!! Thank you for making this film & for making it so perfectly.
Even tho I already knew the outcome my anxiety level were like 📈📈📈 wathing the movie. Props to the entire team.
I knew Sam well. Consider him a close friend. Can’t bring myself to watch the movie just yet. Working up to it.
Ron Howard is such an engaging and dynamic speaker.. I loved the topic and his insight.
Amazing. So well made. I had to remind myself it was a 're enactment when the man started slicing the bamboo to make piping. Brilliant movie. Oscar worthy 👏👏👏
I have watched plenty of documentaries and videos about this, so I knew most of the key elements. and still, I was in with the suspense... great movie
Best movie in years. Awesome job.
Thank you Ron, master piece in capturing the best of what humanity can be.
Wow. Knowing now that the actors did the dive scenes IRL, so much more impressive and it comes through in the film for sure
Mr Ron Howard, this is your best movie ever! It topped all your other movies
I’m a grateful for the amount of Thai spoken in the movie. It was their story, and I really felt the respect towards that in the movie.
Unbelievable film. Ron Howard does it again!
I just visited this cave, could only go in about 5% of the way to where the boys were. It was scary
The realism is amazing. It adds authenticity to the movie. Also, I'm not surprised that Viggo Mortensen asked to do all his diving scenes himself and not use a stunt double. The guy's a legend, so as Ron Howard.
Amazing event. Great rendition. Happy days ! Sorry couldn't help myself.
Thank you Ron for this film. Truly emphases the amazing resilience of humanity.
Watched it last night, and its an incredible film - kudos to everyone involved.
Terrific film. Moved me to tears of joy.
Kudos to all the actors and Mr. Howard. One of the best movies seen in a long time out of Hollyweird...
This movie was incredible! I never felt such anxiety while watching a film. I had heard of the story but never knew the outcome. In a way I was finding out about it all for the first time. Incredibly done!
