Great build and such a simple design, there are many over complicated scissor lifts on TH-cam that don't do the job as well, love to see some more projects

Really like the build and appreciate sharing! Would just like to point out that there is quite a bit of unsafe practices shown.. I’m sure for you as a skilled and experienced woodworker it was easier to control the risks but newbies trying to follow your guidance who don’t know any better might end up with serious injuries. Perhaps consider putting a disclaimer or subtitles during more dangerous scenes so they get safety tips as well. Again, thanks for sharing!

Good looking and practical bench/ table to have in any shop as it could be adapted pretty easily to be a infeed or outfeed table , a material handling cart , or many other uses I’m between shops and homes at the moment but I’m pretty sure this is the way i wat to go in my next shop as Due to some injuries my back needs to have Something similar for me to stand working on something for long periods at a time i will probably power it with a modified angle grinder attached semi permanently to the Unit ( batter powered ) of course

I had flashbacks watching this....I built one like it with the drill hookup on the bottom.....and all I had was a drill and a skillsaw.....wish I would have filmed it

I've had the chance to use this table a couple of times now. It's fun to whip out in front of people:) I can see what people are talking about when they say the legs are delicate, but they're design to support a "mostly" vertical load, not be torqued from the side or pushed back into place. If you just let the table open or close on it's own and don't force anything, it works great th-cam.com/users/postUgkxyFZUPFEey-PuqsPMxqaykBhgA1LWxFHh Once it's set up, it's pretty solid. My only gripe would probably be related to the clamps provided. They're not the highest quality. They do the job, so no big deal, but they could be better. All in all, pretty cool gadget.

Love the Fish Eye Lens on your camera. I might have to start wearing Fish Eyed Glasses to help make my MY Boards look Straighter.

Rather than ask you to do it, I'm removing the threaded bar and somewhat archaic drive system (lol) with a linear actuator that I've already bought.
usly, thanks for this. I couldn't quite get my head around where I could mount the actuator to do what I've mentioned. I'm undecided whether top or bottom mounted (possibly middle with a longer scissor-chain). My Actuator extends from 30cm to around 60cm in just over a minute

What is the drilling machine? Is it a shop smith? I am new to wood working. I just like the action of it.

Any idea how much it will hold or lift? I have a metal cabinet I will need to refinish and rehabilitate but I suspect is well over 100 pounds and I need to take it out work on it and then put it back and can’t leave it on the bench. Thinking I could use this to load it on and then bring it up the height to work and put it all away after each session.
