Hi Matt, please don’t ever upgrade your videography equipment to professional kit, your phone balanced on a box of dog food is hilarious! Yet another brilliant video, keep ‘em coming 😂
Imagine the horror of it being professional ..... NOT involving dog food boxes, two cookery books and a bag of coffee!!! One day I will get 15 minutes in and it'll all come crashing down and I will end up completing the vid laying on the floor... which... might be ok as it goes!!! Either way, thank you Roger for your kind words. Wishing you a good weekend
Another great Video. I fitted a 'SinglePoint' red dot sight to an HW 35 back in the late '70's. Great fun when plinking - however I'm sure that the modern versions are much better made and inherently more accurate. BTW the original Singlepoints were used as the sights on the Star Wars 'rifles' Keep the fun and reality in you Video work....its refreshingly 'feel good' Matt.
Hello JR - good question and no it didn't. But this is quite a low power springer and recoil movement is minimal. On a big springer it might need checking a few times. I used one on the HW80 25 cal and that was OK too, but still UK Sub 12 fl lb
Shot it about 50 shots..... nothing shattered shattered!! I'm not sure my little HW has enough recoil to detonate the thing though. Maybe a big arse HW80 with a monster spring might cause it a wobble, but don't think it's gonna break. It's not specifically for airguns.. it's just for plinking on a small gun.

From the cheap red dot Ive tried on my springers, they're a great addition.
I do need to get a decent one with good mounts
This one is OK but it is a cheapy. The Hawke I used recently on my HW80 25 cal was superb!! Def better than this but .. pays ya money, right?

Thank you Steve. I am grateful for the kind words. This Red Dot is a 3x mag and it's taking some getting used too... we shall crack on and see
Excellent. Matt .
Well thank you :)
Did the optic creep backwards? In my experience with spring air rifles the recoil moves optics.

A Ritz, is not a biscuit...
I'm touched that you watched to the end... I know you want it to be custard creams ;)
@@mattscountry363when you started to wind the video up, and there was still like a minute left, I knew something was coming...
Have you shot this a lot? Did the reticle shatter? What red dot? Is it for air rifles?
