I’ve always liked the fourth generation of Pokémon, most likely my favorite. It was the last Pokémon game that beat you to a pulp all the way through, and didn’t hold your hand. The legendaries as well, the way they look and the music that went along with them made them seem...otherworldly, even before UBs were a thing

Same. Gen 4 has by far the best Pokémon. The only generation that brought us Lucario, Garchomp, Bastiodon, Rampardos, new evolutions for several previous generations Pokemon, the lake guardians, the creation trio, the god of Pokémon, the lunar duo. I mean, sure Regigigas is a let down but every gen had that Pokémon. It’s too bad because it’s so cool looking. Phione was also Sinnoh but again just 2 Pokémon out of a whole generation. I was in my late teens when this game came out however I didn’t play it. I learned gen 4 through Pokémon Go and I have to admit that this is definitely the definitive generation of fantastic Pokémon. Diamond and Pearl remakes need to happen on the Switch! I know one thing, if it does happen I’ll definitely purchase it!!!!!!!!

I still remember when I first stood in front of Palkia and heard this dope ass version of the Spear Pillar theme when I clicked A. The first time ever I just stood there without attacking to hear it all.

4th Gen: Best Gen. (In my honest opinion.) Really hope they do a remaster with the modern systems and tools at the trainer's disposal instead of just a remake with the old TM and HM systems in place.
