One of my favorite gens was gen 4, I loved the story, the setting and the music it had. Hearing this makes my childhood even more epic.
This one agrees, gen 4 was my childhood and the eventual remakes will likely be the single most hype thing I have ever experienced
Gen 4 is by far my favorite Gen. Lake Trio, Giratina, Dialga, ARCEUS!!
The fights against Azelf and Uxie taught me the value of Dusk Balls, and the ecounters with Mesprit taught me to *not waste my fncking Master Ball on the cover legends.*

Every Legendary has 3 Catch Rate before Gen 6, the only exception being Rayquaza

They probably gave Cresselia the regular wild pokemon music just to throw people off even more if they run into it by accident.

Sigh.. going around for Mesprit was a damn pain in the backside.... That aside, the intro is phenomenal e and song has that _alien_ thematic that permeates the 4th gen. Nice work!
Short story time.
Black 2. I had already caught Uxie and Mesprit, I only had to find Azelf. I finally found it, and the battle began. I threw a quick ball, it broke out. "Fuck, better use false swipe and spam ultra balls."
Nope.
Azelf wiped my team not once, but twice in a single encounter, just to rub it in my face how many ultra balls and revives I wasted. I would have kept going but I literally ran out of revives.
I reloaded the save, threw a quick ball, and it was mine.
RNG's a bitch, man.
Well Azelf did its job I gave u the willpower to keep trying
The theme in the game already felt like a symphonic metal MIDI, and this brings out those vibes in full.
Glad to see the Lake Guardians getting some much-needed Metal love! Mesprit was and is still a personal favorite

Killer. Loved how it had a djenty feel to it because of the way the original is. Would’ve chose a guitar tone that accommodated that style of playing more but other than that this is absolutely flawless

I hope in the remake they find a way to merge the three together via item or something. I like them as a trio, but them being all just psychic seemed kinda redundant. Maybe a Psychic/Water because they’re the lake trio?
