@@Hollis.Hopper12 you remove the tape once your paint has set but isnt completely dry. That way it doesnt tear when you remove the tape and it doesn't smear like freshly wet paint (:
As a graffiti artist who uses these colors quite often I can tell you exactly why that pink give you trouble. applying that particular pink to any surface and some of the other Rustoleum colors can be tricky especially because that particular color is a gloss finish paint that does not adhere or cover quite as well as some of the other flat or satin or even semi-gloss colors. Also be careful with some of the yellows and "real orange" color in particular.
I learned that in high school metal shop. Made funky ashtrays and boxes. I love the cool patterns you can come up with. Thanks for reminding me how much fun that was.
Bert0ld0 we just used white primer and purple metal rust resistant coat and we used probably the same temperature water as a water hose left untouched on a hot sunny day yea about that same temperature but we didnt know exactly the right way to do it because we used an air nozzle to dry it so it had popped bubbles all over it but it still looked sick
As an alternative to using a primer on non-porous or other less porous materials, try a spray-on "adhesion promoter" that comes in a standard spray can. Great for plastic, wood and metals, especially if you don't necessarily want to change the natural color of the material being painted.
Hint: Use enamel paint. It won't form the acrylic plastic layer in the water. However, it does need a while [24-48 hours] to dry out. Cool stuff. Thanks.
In your experience owuld you say it has a smoother finish or holds up better? My issue with spreay paint is it always seems to wear off pretty quick even with clear coats, but it could be because I'm using cheap paint.
It all depends on what you clean it with, what you coated the paint with, what type of paint you use, and the use of the weapon and the elements it’s in. It a weapon for show, it should be fine. But if it’s used by LEO’s or security guards, it might have worn off.
Jon Con: Rustoleum is actually a fairly durable brand of paint and it was properly primed and clear coated. As long as he wasn’t constantly mag dumping Tulammo through it like Jerry Miculek in the desert, or cleaning it with a Dremel, I imagine that it would hold up with minimal wear

Electrolytic etching. If you search 'electrical knife etching' or 'knife marking' you'll see. I actually have videos of it but not on youtube. You use a saturated solution of salt water and 5-12v to etch deep into steel. You make a mask using electrical tape, nail polish, vinyl stencils etc. Alligator clip to part, alligator clip onto the cotton part of a q-tip, dip in solution, and apply to steel through stencil. It does generate chlorine gas, but small amounts. Send me a message and I'll show you my gallerys of electrolytic etching, electrolytic rust removal, electrolytic degreasing, and electropolishing. Spray the paints and pull the objects up though the paint ????
Joseph La Bianco I believe the water would prevent the paint from sticking properly in that instance, but I could be wrong
dipping into the water forces it into all the nooks and crevices.
Yessssssssss
The reason hydro dipping works is because of surface tension of the water, Wich makes pulling it up through the water not work.
Ashton Collins well the surface spray pant will still contract to the objects or object.
do a durability test on the Glock to see how well the hydro dip finish holds up

Alex but he is building the gun, no matter how very slightly, and that is against the policies now.
+LestatAlmighty Technically speaking, he's merely reassembling the gun, NOT "building it". Then again, I am aware how stupidly strict TH-cam can be.
Alex the new rules don't say modify they say build. He assembled the gun in this video and is breaking their new ridiculous rules.
*DEMONITIZED* lol 😂
RandomGuyOn TH-cam Why was it?
Cystus cuz of the glock

TH-cam niggas: iT hAS A GuN, sO leT'S DeMoNiTIzE iT
**Demonetizing and demonizing**
Just another attempt to punish anyone who doesn't 'fall in line' with the gun hating progressive mentality! When they aren't demonetizing videos that contain ANYTHING that's gun-shaped, they are busy demonizing gun owners on their primary propaganda networks(CNN, MSNBC, NBC, ABC, CBS, PBS, NPR, Bloomberg, NYT, etc etc etc)
