Music Game News Polarizing is a stretch. A president who is supported by 80 plus percent Filipinos is more unifying than polarizing. His highest trust and satisfaction rating was at 90 plus percent. That’s not polarizing. The remaining few who are not satisfied is more of an isolated case of individuals with unhappy childhood.

With all due respect Ovela, I suggest refrain from involving yourself in the very complicated issue of Philippine politics. I was born and raised in the Philippines. My Mum was a teacher and my father was a very successful lawyer who became the Provincial Fiscal and at the same tim help the position of technical assistant of the provincial governor. Governors, Mayors, Congressmen and even Senators were often guests at our house. So I have a very intimate insight into Philippine politics. I say it is complicated because in order to be able to understand present day Philippine politics, you have to know its socio-political underlay and how this came about through the country`s history in relation to the Filipino psyche. Sufficient to say with the advent of Filipinos going and living abroad especially in first world countries. Their eyes and minds have been opened to understand what progress can be made and what benefits there are for the citizens when politicians in government are really there to serve the interests and welfare of citizenry and not their own personal interests and fatten their wallets. Until Pres. Duterte came-cronyism, unbridled graft and corruption and the shameless meddling of the Oligarchy was the rule of the day. These malaise in Philippines politics was rampantly corrupt from top to bottom. And because these has stretched over decades generations of Filipinos have been born into it it and grew up thinking that such while despicable is due to be tolerated -actually a very wrong notion. Until President Duterte came and has taken the extremely difficult task of dismantling this unholy alliance of corrupt politics, a meddlesome and opportunistic oligarchy in collusion with the catholic clergy (a clear outcrop of the enormous corruption raging in the Vatican with Pope Francis is also trying to quel). More and more Filipinos are waking up to see the difference between the so-called decent politicians that don`t curse and are "decent" but who in reality are nothing but a bunch of thieves as opposed to Pres. Duterte who may have a foul mouth (his way of showing is commonality with the lower class) but has his heart in the right place and that is wanting progress and economic betterment for the Philippines.
It is true that PRRD talks bad words but these bad words or cursing that he voice out directed to those corrupt and evil government leaders , politicians, and the druglords and addicts.He never curse or bad mouthed good leaders but compliments them in their good works.That's why Trump and Putin like PRRD because what he says comes from his heart and whom he is addressing with cursing or bad words are those people involved in corruptions and drugs.

Ovela, please don't be hurt if you see people judge you and think you're anti-Duterte or what. I feel sad when people judge you right away for only focus on whatever you said that seem "against" Duterte even after you clearly point out that you don't know exactly where to stand, you need more time to research, and that obviously you only said what you think "for the moment". But also please understand that so many people are in sync with Duterte when it comes to their love, emotion, and patriotism for the country that they become so emotionally intense whenever someone say something bad to the very person (Duterte) they share the same feelings with. 5 years ago i think I'm the only one who didn't get robbed while walking on the streets of Colon since I'm always cautious, but most of my classmates did. But after duterte was elected, even late evening past 10pm-12mn i would always see police patrol cars roaming on that same street. Before i personally saw few dozens of robberies & attempts, but after duterte was elected I'm still about to see my first.

Governors, Mayors, Congressmen and even Senators were often guests at our house. So I have a very intimate insight into Philippine politics. I say it is complicated because in order to be able to understand present day Philippine politics, you have to know its socio-political underlay and how this came about through the country`s history in relation to the Filipino psyche. Sufficient to say with the advent of Filipinos going and living abroad especially in first world countries. Their eyes and minds have been opened to understand what progress can be made and what benefits there are for the citizens when politicians in government are really there to serve the interests and welfare of citizenry and not their own personal interests and fatten their wallets. Until Pres. Duterte came-cronyism, unbridled graft and corruption and the shameless meddling of the Oligarchy was the rule of the day. These malaise in Philippines politics was rampantly corrupt from top to bottom. And because these has stretched over decades generations of Filipinos have been born into it it and grew up thinking that such while despicable is due to be tolerated -actually a very wrong notion. Until President Duterte came and has taken the extremely difficult task of dismantling this unholy alliance of corrupt politics, a meddlesome and opportunistic oligarchy in collusion with the catholic clergy (a clear outcrop of the enormous corruption raging in the Vatican with Pope Francis is also trying to quel). More and more Filipinos are waking up to see the difference between the so-called decent politicians that don`t curse and are "decent" but who in reality are nothing but a bunch of thieves as opposed to Pres. Duterte who may have a foul mouth (his way of showing is commonality with the lower class) but has his heart in the right place and that is wanting progress and economic betterment for the Philippines.

5 years ago i think I'm the only one who didn't get robbed while walking on the streets of Colon since I'm always cautious, but most of my classmates did. But after duterte was elected, even late evening past 10pm-12mn i would always see police patrol cars roaming on that same street. Cursing is just but right being addressed to the felons. He do not tolerate evil doers that forced him cursing the offenders. He is nice to an upright people. In other words, he only curses the bad guys and that is his promise. We love that because no one would love to live in a chaotic country. He is a father figure and that is basically an acceptable culture ingrained in our parents. He loves his country and anyone who will attempt to destroy his people, he promised to also destroy them. For us, we love it to live in a peaceful community. These facts haven't been known to the world.

I personally think the President's intention is to help the people. He doesn't mind tearing down oligarchs who are violators of the law and tax evaders like ABS CBN. He is not afraid because he doesn't have personal interest or business to protect.
