hasn't the mold penetrated into wood as well ? and by wetting and wiping with anti-molding solution will eliminate mold at surface? why not changing the wood studs?
You are correct. When black mold is present - not just because is black in color as black mold is not a real term. But if the species Stachybotrys is present. The infected building materials should be clean prior to the extraction and proper disposal of anything that was infested on the surface. Wood, Sheetrock laminate flooring, etc…. You shouldn’t just clean Stachybotrys type of mold when is present.
I worked doing bank repossession of houses. There was a house that flooded because the people left the water running and flooded the second floor. It was left long enough that the entire house was gutted. I blasted the entire house with walnut shell to get rid of the mould , then painted it all with kilz paint. was a nasty job.
It’s amazing that you think this is the proper way to remediate mold. Sure, you removed from the surface as far as the eye can see. However, mold particulates are beyond physical site of our eyes. Our site can see particulates down to 50 micros, but mold particulates are as small as .1 microns. Therefore, we can’t see them. Also, your product has oxidation properties rendering it invisible. So unless it has anti-microbial properties you’ve actually done nothing except make it invisible. Removal is the only acceptable procedure in the restoration industry. So stop making videos that are NOT in accordance with industry standards and guidelines.
Need to replace that dry wall
