You are part right. Bleach will kill mold that is on the surface and whiten surfaces that are porous, but bleach can not penetrate porous surfaces. So if there is mold behind the item, say grout between the shower tiles, then the bleach is not reaching that mold and so it resurfaces after awhile. White vinegar or 3% peroxide will kill mold on non-porous surfaces and penetrate porous surfaces to kill the mold. So after you do the cleaning, you should follow it up by spraying it down with some white vinegar or 3% peroxide (let it dry) to kill the mold. There is a lot more information and videos on here from professional mold removers now. I have used both the white vinegar and the 3% peroxide and it has made a huge improvement. I live in a really humid place that can sometimes be a bit of a challenge even with using dehumidifiers. - One other thing, I sometimes get the foaming spray w/bleach or the toilet bowl gel with the spout for application. They work great too so you don't have to be up close to the mold if you have bad allergies. Great video, thanks :)

It will still come back if the conditions that caused the mold isn't corrected. The only thing that can be done is to stay on top cleaning the area to keep it under control.

Just Use a hot air gun @500 Degrees or higher. Should be fine on concrete walls & flooring
Bleach works but if indoors, it's dangerous to inhale.

When removing black mold, I would use not only gloves and protective glasses but a mask. Also, I would never put the brush back inside the container after touching the moldy area with it. I would simply get some product out on a separate bowl and leave the rest untouched. I agree with the comment by @agamer219 too.

Why do you dip the brush into the bottle of bleach? Better to pour some into a bowl or dish. Then the bleach can be used for other uses and uncontaminated.

      Laura,
This is actual research that was done. with the same type of experiment on several surface types to include plastic, paper, and wood. Your comment identifying the camera blur may indeed lead one to believe her result is fabricated. However, you can view the same 3rd party research indicating bleach is highly effective against mold. Furthermore, the research states prevention identifies bleach as a combative component for mold prevention on the same surface types. MRS. Bisby's method of using the toilet paper over the mold source for a 24 hour period has less to do with the outcome of the reveal but more to do with constant application on the problem area, meaning if you wanted to spray your mold source with bleach daily I'm sure you could but a 24-hour constant application is what shes proving to be more effective!
If you still do not believe I have enclosed the 3rd part source that you can read on your own time that has several mold/bleach experiments.
