Iv'e been buying six packs of Ohuhu blending markers, then using an electric portable air blower to blow out the solution on the inside ( which is only alcohol anyway ) Then I rince them out with alcohol again and then blow them out once again. Then I refill them with Copic ink refills...This method works great, though there are other steps in the process I haven't explained, this is the basic idea. I have also mixed inks in the same color families to make new colors with darker or lighter hues. I have made 30 new markers so far at about half of the cost of buying new crappy Copic markers. The copic ink is great, the design of the copic marker is terrible.
Yeah this why I hate them too, I’ve spent a fortune to buy individuals and I used them only once or twice and they died, and they say that copic uses expensive materials so the marker has a better quality but most of my copic markers caps have cracked and they died, even though I love them they are the best on almost every single paper and they have a huge variety in light colors but from now on I am gonna stick with ohuhu even though Ohuhus brush nib is a bit stiff. Copic should listen a bit more to their costumers!
Great drawing as usual. Added to the list of their problems, Copic marker caps don't fit/snap onto the back of the marker while it's being used. Is it any wonder that Oahu is currently taking so much of Copic's business? I'm a colored pencil person myself, but I will probably pick up a large set of Oahu markers given how affordably priced they are.

It's such an awesome illustration 👏 I don't like that Copic ink isn't even archival, so I don't get the high price with no quality. At least W&N has the best marker ink, albeit the price, too. Ohuhu wins in the end

From my understanding NO alcohol markers are archival. Or at least they aren't lightfast. By their natural the ink is dye based, not pigment based. That said, Copic drawings I've had in sketchbooks or folders have been fine for over a decade.
@@theameiringh8143 yes she had too do that but now is too long ago i think. Not buy those sets you better can buy some markers not those sets there are not good Blending colors.
HELLO!!! new subscriber here!! can i ask how can i make my marker (touchcool markers) not bleed? im using it but the ink is spreading throughout the paper sometimes it go outside my outline, Can u give me some tips to avoid it?
use other markers! poor quality makes them bleed. you can use the most expensive marker paper but if the nibs of the marker are crap then they bleed just honest here
The design flaw makes them crack. Thats why I want 358 Ciaos! It is a pack of cigarettes so yeah one Sketch is affordable, but not if they crack in a few month without much use.
I’ve exclusively used copics when I first started. I now combine them with ohuhus and winsor and Newton pro/brushmarkers

@@davemilligan1171 LOVE your creativity, man. Now you have great art supplies for half the price. Copics are a rip off.
I need a little help, can you tell what kind of paper should we use for touch alcohol markers?
Perfect collering paper from claire fontane is een goede
Your editing skills has been improving 😮 keep going to success..
thank you so much 🥰😍
Baka naman idol pwede makahingi ng markers pang start ko lng po.
You have to use ink refills to keep your markers hydrated.
No, there are thin cracks mostly on the chisel side. You are wasting expansive ink if you refill while alcohol can continue to evaporate.
Als de dop kapot is heeft dat weinig zin ze moet gewoon contact opnemen met copic krijgt ze gratis nieuwe

Hello power of drawing, in my opinion copic markers have a better grip, brush in my opinion, and a easier numbering system, that why i like copic.
what do you think of ohuhu markers?
Een goede keus en veel goedkoper
