This is The first quilt pattern that I repeated. I’m fancy now upgraded my machine joined a quilt group done many patterns and mastered bindings… but I still come back to this no binding quilt over and over again! Just finished another for the quilt donation next month. Thank you Stacey!!
Another great and easy quilt idea for the Comfort Cases donation drive. Summer is coming. I bet fleece can be had at a good price now. 🤣 Have a great weekend!
Stacey, I love everything about your channel! I love your video presentations, your voice, your method of teaching is easy to follow! Your taste in color combinations & fabrics is awesome!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Very cute quilt. Great suggestion for a fast project. Love the suggestions regarding the start and stopping for quilting the top. As always- love your tutorials!
Beautifully done! Love this. I just shared this to a friend who is going to attempt her first quilt. Your instructions and demonstration of method is so nicely done, clear and concise instructions. I am sure this will help her immensely. She has a granddaughter she wants to make a quilt for and I think this would be perfect for her first try. Thank you! I will be watching more of your videos and looking forward to more from you. God bless you and your wonderful ability to teach others how to sew and enjoy what they do. ❤❤❤
Just found your channel. I love this quilt. I’m new to quilting so it will be great for me and I also think small children will appreciate the soft side of the quilt. Thanks so much. ❤
I just found your video and I have since watched a few them. Your tutorials are very good. I've just subscribed and looking forward to viewing more of your videos.

I love the way you explain and show each step.so.it can be followed easily. I want to know if we can open the seams and press instead of pressing it towards one side
This was great! Binding can be a pain sometimes. Also, one thing that I have used for pushing out corners is a larger crochet hook. If you use a small one it can sometimes go through, but a larger one works great! 👍
Do you have a tutorial for machines that don't have a walking foot? I can't get a walking foot for my sewing machine and all the tutorials I've found for quilts calls for a walking foot. Thank you 😊
Could this be done with larger quilts? I’m making my first quilts. Have a few tops finished and looking to finish them for Christmas gifts. They’re 50x60. So I’m sure your technique will work. Eventually I want to make larger quilts. I’m scared of the idea of binding 😂.
Thank you, Samantha! 😊 Yes, this technique can definitely be adapted for larger quilts like your 50x60 ones. Binding might seem tricky at first, but with practice, it becomes much easier-I promise! ❤️ You’ve got this! ✂️🎄
Love this! Thanks Stacey & Neils. I have a question re: pressing… is it better to use a wool pressing mat like you used or is it just as good to use a traditional ironing board? Just wondering if it’s worth investing in one… thank you! Xx
Hi Stacy, I will be mailing 3 baby quilts and bibs, I was wondering if they accept quilts year round? I wish I had found your channel sooner to have more to donate. Thank You

Hi Stacey. I would like to make a monetary donation to this cause. I'm not comfortable putting my credit card or bank information out there I only go through Pay-Pal. Is there a way that I can do that? Let me know. Oh, and I really enjoy your tutorials. I'm looking forward to the May quilt along block!
Hi Susan, thanks so much for wanting to donate to Comfort Cases. I think the easiest thing to do is contact Comfort Cases and ask them. On their website it looks like you can only pay donations via credit card, not paypal. You could buy things off their Amazon wish list and pay via paypal for that maybe? Thanks, Stacey, for another great tutorial! I was wondering if flannel could be used instead of fleece for the backing?
Hi Janie, thanks so much! Yes absolutely flannel would work too! 😍

Thank you for this tutorial and into on Comfort Cases. I plan on making a few quilts to send. What
size would be best for a toddler and/or Baby?
Awesome Sharon! Thanks so much. For babies 30” x 40” and big kids 50” x 60”

Can we open the seams and press ?.
Yes you can, you just can’t nest them ☺️
Can I do this with using just squares? I want to use scrap material that I have and none of them are not strips.
Yes you can 😊
@staceyleecreative thank you, that is awesome
Is this just in your area or can we donate in our own area?
Hi Karen, Comfort Cases is across the whole of the USA. Where are you? In the US or another country?
@@staceyleecreative I am in Florida. I just don’t want to ship a quilt. I can be pricey
Are you using flannel ?
Hi, I used fleece for the backing 🤗
Is this what they call inside out quilt?
Yes Vicki, the technique of sewing the top and backing together and turning it, is what I refer to as an inside out quilt 😊
