Nice to hear your endorsement of Cory as he is an icon in the fishing industry. Really enjoy your presentations which are always from the heart and a Scottish one at that. I use a split thread for fixing the CDC and dubbing at the end. The fly works well down under in NZ as well. Kindest Regards.
I am in the US. SE PA to be exact. I can attest to this fly. It works in different sizes and weights. My favorite is a 16 with a slightly heavier bead than normal. I tied this up after seeing Cory tie it. Been watching and learning from his channel for a while now, just like i do here. Cheers!
I almost expected this one as a wee double with ice dubbing. 😂 Seriously patterns like this especially in the smaller sizes not only attract interest from trout and grayling. Often they tempt the larger and more established fish. With roach, dace, chub even barbel as bonus sport.
Beautifully done, Lindsay! They are going to be good to you. Thank you for the shout-out. Tight lines, my friend!
Thanks Cory and keep up the brilliant videos.
One of the best confidence Euro nymph patterns that you can use IMO … nice job Lindsay

Cory's videos are outstanding, I find myself saying "Thank you Mr brown" 😆
I use a metallic olive bead and a cdc oiler for this fly and skip the dubbing loop. Works great on wary spring creek fish. Great tutorial!
Thanks buddy 👍
Looks great. Tied a variation tonight. Will tie up a batch. Nice video.
Great stuff buddy.
Corey uses a 30 denier thread for dubbing loop. I've been using 70 denier utc and splitting it to make the "loop". Great tie! Thanks.
Thanks it has been an exceptional fly for me this year.

Thanks for watching Cory has a great channel lots of hints and tips that can sharpen up your game.
Same here. This nymph along with the green flash perdigon is killer
Lindsay great job brother! I would have never thought of coloring the thread like that to creat the illusion of ribbing!
A very clever idea for sure.
Great fly and Cory is the man when it comes to nymphing. He really explains things well. I’ve learned a lot from him. I love a good jack Daniel’s 🥃
Couldn't agree more!

I would bet money on this fly.
I like the look of that might knock a few up for summer fishing.
I think it could be worth your while ;-)
