    I have an 08 brute force 650 and had the same symptoms you describe - wont go into high or low gear. I split the case and found the same needle bearing from the transmission torn apart at the bottom of the case that you found broken in part 2 of the video. I wanted to share in case other people run into the same problems.

      Thanks for sharing. Brutes, form what i have researched have all kinds of problem's with this and the motor mounts causing the linkage to not be aliened correctly.

    I can't figure out how to get the flywheel off

    Good evening, friend, what can I do
    so that the four-wheel drive support
    doesn't move the motor a lot or it
    has some tires?

      I'm sorry I don't really understand the question. If your 4x4 actuator is bad you could go aftermarket. They sell a manual actuator called Knight and i believe the manufacturer is Sgroi Innovations is who makes them.

    Hey I have a 06 Kawasaki brute force 750 4x4, issue I'm having is, it'll go into high gear but won't actually drive, it used to work with no issues hut now it doesnt want to grab the gear or some, low gear and reverse works fine tho

    • @awences1
      @awences1  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hard to say without tearing in to it but it sounds like the high gear could be worn out or rounded and making it not grab. Im sure it won't fix it but try adjusting the linkage before tearing in to it.

      @@awences1 Ive tried, bcuz every now and then, it'll grab for a quick moment but then it'll let it go,

    • @awences1

      @@danielcastro8012 If the adjustment isn't doing it then it could be something internal. Check to see that the engine mounts are nice and tight. they can get loose and cause the alignment to go off and not shift right.

      @@awences1 hey, me again, so today my Kawasaki decided to grab high gear and hold on to it for quite a bit, rode around the whole block fine. But once I put it in neutral and back into high I felt something move under the seat, idk if the engine or the rear diff, but now I know for sure high gear works and the engine needs to be adjusted. So how exactly do I do that? Thanks in advance

    • @awences1
      @awences1  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@danielcastro8012 Thats an odd one. Sounds like engine mounts need to be tighten. I would start there. Bolts could be loose and that's why you feel it on the seat

    i just pulled the side cover off and the pickup coil little plate that goes on with the screws looks like someone must have put it on upside down ,it is bent flat with shinny scrape marks ,would this make it miss and back fire , i just bought it not running 2005 kfx 700 are they an adjustment on this if i can find a good one / new one ? ~ thanks for your replys

    • @awences1
      @awences1  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not really familiar with those i usually stick to 4x4 quads. Im nut 100% sure if it would make it backfire but i dont think that's all your problem. Could have something to do with it so i would fix it but check your valve gaps and change your spark plugs. I would also check timing marks and go from there. Having a service manual would be helpful too.

    Hola , disculpa si me puedes ayudar a cuantas libras van los tornillos de la cabeza del cilindro ?

    • @awences1
      @awences1  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      its been a while ago since i did it and i would verify this before just trying this but its a 2 step prosses. First your torque them down to 18 ft-lb and on the second one you do 36 ft-lb. this is for the cylinder heads.

    Hi I have a Brute Force 750 2008 and just notice that after each ride (120km) I need to add oil about half to a bottle Somme guys told me it was normal just like to have your thoughts about it it has about 9500 km on it thank
    And also great video 👍

    • @awences1

      I heard if you go up hills or pop wheelies a lot oil will go in to the air box causing it to read low when checking. I always check the oil level before ridding just to be safe.

    • @inspencersgarage8254

      Hey! Im a Kawasaki tech in Canada. I hope you got your problem sorted. But No that is not normal, most likely causes are bad valve seals or worn piston rings.

    How difficult is it to change the seals behind the water pump? I'm leaking oil from a tube behind the water pump on the bottom of the motor.it looks like a vent tube but leaks oil

    • @awences1
      @awences1  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Its not that bad. I would still recommend having the manual or at lest the part that involves that area, to double check everything. The book says, if i remember correctly, to remove that hole cover to replace all the seals needed. you will need new gaskets too and to drain the oil and coolant. But ive heard of some people doing it by just removing the water pump cover and not the cover that goes over the stater. I took the hole thing off.

      @@awences1 they should be reliable, most riders don't do this but I do. Trouble shooting on this, like I said, involves lots and lots of parts. I am good mechanically, like working on them. But a person who usn't could have automotive-ish labor bills if major disassembly is required.

    • @grandcrappy
      @grandcrappy 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Meaning, I maintain them. Besides good quality luv3s, you also don't rev a void motor and you ride real rasy just for a few minutes to allow gradual parts expansion and temp equalization. Doing this doubles or triples component life. Many riders are ignorant, beat em up, deep muddy water riding without more care and parts commit suicide.
