Lara my favorite female vocalist. Now for my favorite ballad vocalist in the WORLD. He’s from Korea and when you hear this love song by him you will be transported to the celestial realm. It’s a live performance from his Happy Together concert and I’ve listen to it over 10 times and each time I’m moved to my depths and am speechless. If you still have a beating heart and soul you will become ( like millions of others worldwide ) a rabid fan and want to hear more. And there’s plenty more to discover. By the way he is a living legend in Korea and when he announces an upcoming concert, it is SOlD OUT in less than 15 minutes ( 30,000 avid fans) He has the most emotionally impactful purist voice in the world and the song I am going to reveal is a love song from his Happy concert titled “ it’s you” ( sung in Korean with English subtitles so you will be able to follow). Heartbroken, desolada, destruida, mortificada, abrumada, devastada... a veces el inglés no tiene el poder de variedad semántica que poseen las lenguas romances. The semantic variety goes together with the musical, vocal, lyrical, performative ones. She is the Best!
She's Mezzo Soprano, and she did interpret the song with the same passion as anyone would have been in that kind of relationship. There's no doubt she is a deserving beast, but there is a lot more about that song, Serge Lama did not have the right success with the song and he sold it to Dalida who made it an international song, hence, delivery is what gives the whole thing a successful story.
Oh yeah, that's one of my fav songs of hers. I wonder if Dimash would make a cover of it someday, since he already covered just about half of her songs. Also I feel like you could make a solid cover of it too ;P Maybe in a bit different key, but whatever, it'd be cool anyway :) Thanks for the vid!
