I heard rumors players still play PSO. I need to get back on, but my DC keeps doing this thing where it keep restarting at the DC power up screen. I need to fix that. You got a new sub sir! Great vid
Yep! The Dreamcast community is dedicated. There’s a game schedule on the live website, so people will only play specific games at specific times / days. Though you probably know this already considering this is a month old video.
Pso will outlive pso2 ngs easily thanks to private servers. Personally I'm playing on Ephinea to this day, without doubt the best way to play pso right now.
@@AnthonyKnighton-e1i I personally like the Gameplay of Vanilla PSO2. But the story is so freaking cringe, as well as the cosmetics. It's a very different game in terms of tone, the original just has superior atmosphere.
I agree with you, the Broadband Adapter is better for PSO. Now a DreamPi can cost just as much as a Broadband Adapter, the only reason people choose the DreamPi over a Broadband Adapter is that a DreamPi can play all the online games Dreamcast has to offer while a Broadband Adapter can online play a few Dreamcast games only that support the Broadband Adapter.
"It's a shame that SEGA won't do anything with this franchise" Well, they do, they released PSO2 in the west after an eternity of begging, they released New Genesis and all.... but for OG pso..... yeah it's up to us, I don't see SEGA making an official PSO1 server anymore... Which is a shame, imagine if SEGA decided to release a PSO1 server, and go the route of games like Old School Runescape or WoW Season of Discovery, adding brand new content designed to blend with the original, and build upon the foundation of the original..... I'm not sure if that would even work, and I doubt it would ever happen regardless, but I think it would be cool if they tried to do that...
wheeew, I haven't play PSO ever but I got to this video and I enjoyed that you had great time !! my best wishes, hope everyone's doing good too!
I love this game, been doing BB on my Steam Deck and it feels like a dream come true
👍 you have a new subscriber 👍

You’re the best. I consider you the modern day spokesperson for PSO lmao

Its probably the power pins, they get hot and warp and stop touching. You just bend them back into place. Also replace the DC fan

I find it crazy that people are still playing PSO even to this day. Goes to show how great the original game was, PSO2 Never hit the same.
The best thing PSO2 did was bring more people into PSO

PSO2 is pretty much a joke

@@MasterHero10000 Indeed the core gameplay is the only good thing about PSO2 the rest is just vanilla PSU 2.0
I still hope it comes to Nintendo Switch or ipad
For PSO the Broadband Adapter is better, about the same price as a dreampi set
