It's interesting to hear that Professor Meregali has a knee injury now too. I've had one for a bit that's a bit more catastrophic than a meniscus tear that actually happened right in front of Meregali and his advice at the time was "Don't stop training completely, come everyday but roll *very light*" which seems to line up with what he's doing. I'm a bit ashamed to say it but I couldn't bring myself to do as he said but that's what separates us from how good we are to how great the man is. My only excuse is I don't think the white belts I was rolling with know what light is but it's hard not to see these videos and not want to show up on the mats again.

I would not worry too much about rushing back to class, worry about your knee. Hes one of the very few who need to stay sharp because he’s one of the few who can make a living doing this.
