    Signal on the left: 2 pairs of WCH 12x24 inch lights with WCH 2nd Generation LEDs, a General Signals Type 2 electronic bell, a Siemens gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
    Signal on the right: 1.5 pairs of WCH 12x24 inch lights with WCH 2nd Generation LEDs, 1 WCH 12x24 inch light with a Leotek EV Series LED, a WRRS mechanical bell, a Siemens gate mechanism, and RECO gate lights.
    After catching what I believe was Q532 at 19th Avenue, we went one block over here to 18th Avenue to wait for the next train. I'd thought we'd have to wait on Q125, but luckily enough, this local freight (which I later found out was Y198) wound-up coming instead. So as such, we quickly got set-up and were able to film Y198 trundling east through the crossing with a GP40-2 leading a GP38-3, both equipped with remote-control capabilities.
    After this, ‪@upking9080‬ went on back up to St. Louis and I went off to find some lunch before continuing railfanning.
    As you can see, and have probably seen over on Ethan's channel, there's been a few changes here since I last recorded this crossing. In 2016, both of the WCH gate mechs here were replaced with the current Siemens ones, then, by 2018, both signals had had all of their lights upgraded to the current 12x24 inch LEDs, and the WRRS bell was turned to face the tracks. Since then, no major changes have occured here (thankfully), and the closer signal still manages to retain a full set of incandescent gate lights!

    Great video. I’m surprised that this WRRS bell still remains but I still miss the one at 19th Ave

    Nice crossing and catch! Believe it or not I was railfanning the CSX Bruceton subdivision that day as well and Q125 had 1 locomotive in the front and 2 in the middle!

    Nice catch! Still a shame the 8 inch lights were replaced. At least the mechanical bell remains in service though.

    So the signal on 12th avenue with the WRRS bell got knocked down and replaced with a new signal and NEG electronic bell! The Federal signal bell is still there on the other signal though!

      RIP to the WRRS bell, bet that combo would've sounded great. Good to know though.

    I was just over here today but didn’t catch a train. What line is this?

    • @freebrickproductions
      @freebrickproductions  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's technically part of the Nashville Terminal, though I consider it to be the Bruceton Sub due to the fact that's where it leads.
      Generally, you can catch at least one mixed freight heading west in the morning followed by Q125 (or the other intermodal that works this line) coming east into Nashville in the early afternoons, and maybe a local freight heading west after the mixed freight and then coming back east after Q125.
