WHAT I USED IN THE VIDEO
Plexiglass CLEANER polish spray: amzn.to/3NnDnUL
RainX for Plastics: amzn.to/3GEHF6h
8" polisher buffing wheel hard: amzn.to/3uArotb
8" polisher buffing wheel soft: amzn.to/3Y287hT
Tripoli Brown Bars 1lb 95-97% flawless : amzn.to/3GG3qmc
Blue polishing bar 1lb for 98-100% flawless: amzn.to/3BlFanr
Variable speed polisher under $50: amzn.to/3hiHiVU
DeWalt Variable speed polisher: amzn.to/3FD4W95
Polisher extension standoff(must have) : amzn.to/3RhTapo
USE your DRILL arbor mandrels: amzn.to/46TzWfs
ALL the basic polishing compounds in a kit: amzn.to/3Hm4nl9
After Thoughts about the Video: If you want 99% flawless you will need to install a dedicated soft pad(not used for anything but plastics) and use a blue compound amzn.to/3BlFanr . It will take you a long time and if you get grit on your pad you will have to start all over. You will notice the plexiglass builds up a lot of static. The Brillianize cleaner can be used in between to de-static and show your progress.
DONT'S for good results:
Don't do this on a hot day in the sun.
Don't hold the pad in one spot... Keep moving
Don't apply a ton of compound
Don't do it in a dirty environment
Don't worry... It's easy.

That was a fantastic improvement in the clarity of the windshield. 👍 You didn't have to ask Ginger twice if she wanted to go for a ride. It's good to see she is no longer limping and appears to be all healed up. 😊
She's almost better. We just need to take it easy.
What an Amazingly helpful video. Lots of helpful info, quick and to the point. You need to give classes on how to shoot informational TH-cam videos. I will be doing this soon. I'll post before and after pics.
I think people need to understand we arent going for a car show shine just to make it usable again. great tutorial
What a difference. It's amazing how clear that windshield got and so quickly.
So much nicer.
You definitely got that right about the sun is more likely to blind you because of the glare from the scratches in the plastic wind shield Glad you posted this video on how to polish the plastic wind shield sixty five Ford
Thanks Robert.
@@sixtyfiveford your welcome young man 👍😎 and ginger
Great video, Moe! I suspect rinsing the windshield with a garden hose first and then a light touch with a pressure washer with soap might be a way to avoid the stuck bits of debris ahead of time, thereby reducing those light scratches during the process.
,, great video I tried a bunch of different ways to try to remove the scratches and then I tried the way you showed and it worked perfect I got the best results using the Tripoli compound and a buffing wheel with my drill thanks for the good info
I've found that Rain-X plastic water treatment applied several coatings onto lexan or plexiglass or my Jeeps soft windows works wonders for,and helps hide or lessen the scratching and scuffs... but you only apply it AFTER the process Moe just shared.. 😉
wow thanks!
Happy to see that Ginger isn't limping any more.
A week of trying to take it easy and she's doing better.
Good thing we practiced on those safety glasses
You can also fire polish it for a final treatment to get the fine scratches out. But it is a technique that has a VERY fine line between perfection and destruction. You have to treat the torch like an air brush with super super super attention to detail. One second of inattention will produce a bubbled burnt spot or you'll warp the whole sheet. Lots of practice on scrap pieces for sure. But it is unparalleled in producing a crystal clear finish.
You're right, there is a thin line. I've messed with flame polishing but it's really only meant for the edges of cut pieces. You quickly go from looking better to horrible in a second.
Great job..wait until the wife cleans her windshield wearing a diamond ring..now that's fun..it took me 4 hours to fix that..ginger was exiced to go for a ride..very sweet dog and smart too..see you onthe next one cheers 🍻🍻🍻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
That's a fun one
You can use an old hand saw to clean your buffing wheels. Even with a bench buffing wheel polishing steel, it will last a lifetime. And tripoli is the same as in the Marine Corps song, from the halls of Montezuma to the shores of Tripoli. Buffing plastic and glass is satisfying.
Great idea!
Great video tutorial as usual..Thank you..seriously one of the best channels..
So nice of you
4782 scratches about 40 more than mine LOL As always plenty of good tips!

Stay well, Joe Z
Windshield Tearoffs such as those used in NASCAR are a great way to prevent scratches after polishing. Give it a try.
I just looked. Those are a little pricey. I could buy a new windshield every 3 tear offs.
Plexus does great to help clean and hide micro scratches on my motorcycles. I thought $20 for an aerosol can was crazy until a friend let me try it on my bike
I've come across Plexus mentioned several times in forums. I'm pretty sure it's comparable to the Brillianize I'm use to. I'll have to try it out.
YOU LWAYS COME UP WITH A NEAT FIX
I watched the other one when you did it a year ago and I still haven't gotten any farther along with my polishing exploits. I believe that healer hounds are born excited and get more so as time goes on. Blessings and I stay inside a lot so the windows will have to polish themselves! Blessings to All Yall
LOL. Hey Thanks.
U 2!@@sixtyfiveford
Thanks again! Very informative and well explained as usual. Keep up the awesome videos. Yelm WA
Thanks again!
Ain't gonna lie. When I saw the title, i wondered why we would import plastic windshields from Poland.
Good old Polish windshields.
Thanks again.
oh you are a lifesaver! doing the lord’s work
MM77 Approved 👍🏼👍🏼
A ceramic coating will help hide some of those smaller scratches and help keep it clean better than rainx.
You done a good job by the looks. We used to use Tripoli on brass too, when I was working in a polishing shop
I'm not exactly sure what tripoli abrasive really is. I'm assuming it's some kind of mineral/stone.
@@sixtyfiveford yeah I don't know what it's made of
that works great
The Florida pool pump motor repair guy 32750 approved ! that was good info & see sixtyfiveford
great job mate looks much better
Hey Thanks.
@3:59 I will never understand why women have such difficulty with parallel parking, but bless their hearts they just keep trying 😂
That was very awkward to watch when I was editing the video.
👍👍👍.Thank you
Nice work. Ginger rulz!
I would be excited too if my windshield looked that good, I can't even see out of mine on my Gator.
Ginger with classes looks to serious. Nice video
"Hi dad" immediately followed by her ooopsie! Had me rolling. Thats whatvwe do as parents, embarass. Lol
Damn son... Yours turned out great. I tried and was very careful and still ended up with terrible swirls and its horrible now. I suck !!!!
I've messed up my share of clear plastic.
Merry Christmas Moe and Family! From the Zippo Ranch~
Same to you!
Much better
I was looking for something to polish my welding-grinding face shield with. I gave up two weeks a go and just cut new front pieces on my laser. I'm going to try your method on my old face shield. P.S. twice the diameter means twice the circumference, which means twice the surface feet per minute, not four.
More videos please 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Nice, wonder about a heat gun for those deeper ones. By no means worth the effort but curious 😂
The heat gun/torch is a tricky one. That technique works; kind of. It won't remove a scratch but it will make it less visible. It does so by just remelting a stressed scratch edge that has turned white and makes it clear again. It fills back in a little but not completely. It's really easy to go to far and warp the entire panel.
Is the flame treatment commented on here similar to the one I use to restore sun-faded black plastics with a propane torch?
👍
By the way,all of what Moe showed in this video works just as well on atc, atv, motorsickle, ride on toys, etc plastics.. If faded or deeply scratched ,careful application of heat will often remove most scratches, and even some gouges, while helping to bring the color back closer to original...Applying several good layers of Rain-X for plastics will help to shed dust, mud, water, etc. plus has a uv protector in it which aids in slowing the fading process..
Have you tried this process on faded or scratched plastics on lawn tractors and other OPE? I come across things like chainsaws that I clean really well but still don’t look all that great when I’m done.
wow that came out great! i suppose the same technique would work on convertable rear windows? kudos for speaking out for dog eye protection in the workplace.
Yeah I've done Jeep soft windows a few times and a convertible back window. Those are very thin so you have to be careful not to melt them.
THANKS
👍👍
Going to give it a try ! That the same stuff you used on the car headlights ?
Yes, exactly the same.
Glad to see Ginger's leg seems better.
Just trying to make her take it easy... Which isn't easy.
@@sixtyfiveford haha, I bet🙂 I live near the sea and when much the same thing happened to my terrier I used to take him down too the beach and get him swimming close to the shore while I walked along the shore line throwing rocks a few feet in front of him at regular intervals and get him swimming after them.
You're awesome! Ginger is having a blast tonight playing with the Kong ball.
@@sixtyfiveford That's great!!! She's a good dog. I've been watching the channel for well over 10 years now and really appreciate the content Happy Christmas to you and your family.
The first time I read the title I thought you'd be turning the seats to face backwards
That sounds fun
Would you participate in the off-road games this year if chosen? It must be nice to live in a place where you can let your teen age daughter walk home. Now that i think about it, it might be a good idea to put a clear ceramic tint on the windshield.
Possibly
Would this be good for the lovely faded headlights?
Check it out th-cam.com/video/HQI6HengEGk/w-d-xo.html
Wow. I know what you mean about blocking the winter air flow. Where did you get the seats for the Rhino? Mine are shot from the previous owner leaving it out all the time. Foam sticking out everywhere and cracked.
These are actually aftermarket seats for a Polaris RZR. They're just bolted to the original seat pans. I know the Polaris guys get rid of their good looking OEM seats all the time for aftermarket ones. So searching your local classifies might yield some.
@@sixtyfiveford Ok. Thank you. I will look for that.
Is there a ceramic coating you can throw on there too?
I don't have much experience with the ceramic coatings stuff.
Will this compound work on vinyl windows on soft side doors? Like the type you zipper down and roll.up?
I have done the soft top windows on Jeeps and a convertible. It works great. The hardest part is you can't apply a ton of pressure unless you lay it flat on something. Then because it's so thin you need to make sure not to overheat an area and melt/burn the plastic.
@@sixtyfiveford thanks for the info Moe! Great channel!
Will this work on truck headlights?
th-cam.com/video/HQI6HengEGk/w-d-xo.html
Would this technique work for oxidized headlights or do u recommend another technique?
th-cam.com/video/HQI6HengEGk/w-d-xo.html
thank u sensei
Will it work on head lights
th-cam.com/video/HQI6HengEGk/w-d-xo.html
@@sixtyfiveford thank you I will have to try it
Paw 100% yet?
Almost.
@sixtyfiveford Could this work on headlights too? please try and let us know.

@@sixtyfiveford thanks, I don't know how I missed that one.
You should make a video on how to revive your plastic gas tank on your rhino 660 side by side because mine is yellowed and I cannot see what level the gas is at if you have any suggestions on how to make it clear again to see the level then I would love to hear your suggestions or see a video of you showing how to make it clear again towards that you can see the level of the gas
Interesting idea. Yeah, the look under the seat to see the fuel level is a pain. I find it easier just to look down the filler neck on mine. I know you can use hydrogen peroxide to de-yellow plastics. Not sure if the HDPE of gas tanks would also work.
