It doesn't matter what his gut says he can't fold to the literal 1 combo of hand that can beat him. If Ivey can rep 1 possible hand and make him fold he's going to bluff a LOT
@@Lumerlume11There’s more than one combo that beats him. AA, QQ, JJ, 88, AQ, AJ, A8. All of which are reasonable possibilities. Personally, I’d understand calling the 400k, but raising there was reckless.

Luckily I didn't have as much to bet with, but I doubt anyone would have folded my hand. He needs to have A/K and I had 9/8, straight flush. If you ever thought you were going to fold, I want proof.

being a newbie to poker vids . . . I wish the announcer would consistently refer to the player by the name on the screen. I think they post the 1st name then refer to them by their last name - or vice versa. Confusing!
Yeah Partypoker did that first name thing for a while, or still does it not sure, and it's annoying. You can still make up from the action and the casters who is who though. There has been a whole summer of WSOP and Triton poker and most of it is still up for watch...no first name bs.
Just curious, how can you call it the 5 sickest quads and not include the quad aces that lost to a ROYAL FLUSH at the WSOP Main Event? It was some time around 2006 if I recall.
i'm an ivey fan. i had the same thing happen to me against an old lady at turningstone, i had the nut flush early but couldn't shake her in a limit game and she rivered quads. it was low level money but that's all i can afford.
