Scat Pack vehicle’s that are built prior to build date 4/21/15 will not have the Bee in cluster display.
The Bee in cluster implementation was added to vehicles built 4/21/15 and later with an order date
post 3/2/15 with the interior/exterior SCAT PACK APPEARANCE GROUP - ASA
Note: This feature and its components are available only at the time of the original order. **********No available dealer service options are available to add this appearance group.

They had issues meeting the demand with the forged wheels so they created 2 Scat PacK Appearance Groups (SPAG) The Scat Pack Appearance Package (ARH - $1,995) was replaced with the Scat Pack Stripe Group (ASB - $995) then allowing to order the $1,000 light weight Wheel option when available. It appears I got the SPAG ARH. The ASA I am assuming is the one with the Scat Bees in the seats.

Change it to the Hellcat, wait 15 minutes and open the hood, see if a Supercharger appears! :-P

For those of you wondering what would happen if you brought something like this into a dealer. Once you flash your car and get the screen you're looking for, you might get a CEL. I'm currently working on. Charger R/T that did this to get the hellcat logo and his car came up with 18 DTCs directly related to this flash. It will not cause drivability issues however, just an annoying CEL.
The CELs were something about voltage issues since the car now thinks it's a Hellcat.

I believe it was a 15 or 16. Ultimately in the end we had to flash the ecu back to factory since the customer wanted that CEL off.
I've read up a bit about this product and personally it seems to be gimmicky for lack of a better word, but I only came to drop my two cents since I see this kind of thing every now and then.
I admit the feature shown in this video is gimmicky at best, but for some who purchased early 15 Scat Packs I'm a little surprised the dealer could not flash mine to display the bee.
The Tazer does have some serious meaningful functionality, it was originally developed to remove traction control and provide line lock. Branching off the racing functionality they have added fan control (runs fan with engine off to cool while staging) they have also added Inter cooler pump for the hellcats. All with battery protection etc...
It's got a lot of great functionality along with a bunch of features to cater to the masses.
The dealership is at the mercy of Mopar and Mopar says we have to fix a car to factory standards, there is no other option unfortunately. It's a pain for both sides sometimes.
As far as the tazer goes, I guess if my customer didn't try and make they're R/T think it was a Hellcat and stuck with options the R/T could handle then I think everything would've been fine. I too have something similar to the tazer and if i check boxes my car can't support i throw codes too.

I have a 2019 Scat Pack Charger, and it doesn't go into the menus when you hold left and press cancel.
I just bought 15 scatpack charger and instead of the bee it has the hellcat and srt pages. Does that mean the previous owner used the tazer flash on it?
Yeah, unfortunately you can only have either the bee or the srt drive modes as of now.
Does the font on your screen change? Does the MPH come in the SRT font behind the wheel?

There are 2 feature sets for the Tazer. You can make changes and pull it out. But if you want to use any of the live features outlined in the use manual you need to leave the Tazer connected.

This change does not require the tazer to remain plugged in.

Why would you need to change your settings back before a service? It's not like what you did was a performance mod.

Disable SRT mode the airbag warning will go away shortly, not sure if it's fixable because none of the SRT features work in the 5.7
From the F.A.Q.
If you have a 2015/2016 Charger 3.6 or 5.7, setting SRT will result in an airbag error. Nothing unlocked in SRT
mode works on the 3.6/5.7, so no reason to enable SRT on these cars. You can still get all the EVIC performance
pages and add sport mode if you don’t already have it.

Why do you say you will have to change all of these changes back when take the car to the dealer for service? Why do they care if there is a Bee or something else on the startup screen?
It's best to restore all settings and remove the device this will put the car back to the stock condition so the mechanic can diagnose any issues without having to figure out what the TaZer is and any settings it changed. Have a charger scatpack 17 I have the bee if I do the tazer I heard it removes the bee. Is there anyway to use the tazer and keep my bee? Also is the tazer a plug and download or a leave in obd plug at all times?
The bee will remain unless you load SRT mode, due to the fonts and theme for SRT mode the bee goes away, but will return once you disable SRT mode. The tazer has 2 types of feature sets. One where it unlocks things and can be removed (example: SRT pages, ligthing contrl, etc) and the other Live features where you must have the TaZer plugged in (ex: linelock, Lightshow, etc.) see this page for full details. www.zautotech.com/docs/Tazer%20user%20guide%20-%202.2.9.pdf

This only works if you have the zAutomotive TaZer installed using the Double Bypass? zautomotive.com/product/tazer/. This video is on my 2015, you will want to check with zAutomotive if the desired splash screen works on your 2018 model.

Has anyone tried this on a Charger Scat Pack? I can't get the Bee back following these instructions in my Charger. I like the SRT modes but I want the Bee splash screen back again.
Will Gammelgaard due to the fonts and load out screens in SRT mode you cannot have the bee while it's enabled. I love SRT mode so I give up the 🐝 from time to time

If you don't rest to factory can the dealer not cover the electric components or computer chip
not necessarily, there are laws in place to protect us from the dealer blatantly denying warranty. check out the "magnuson moss warranty act" for more info

Good for you , that's awesome. All though my dealership is okay I don't like any body touching my car. I had free oil changes but they couldn't get me In.. So I just built some ramps and did it myself. BTW, 2015 SRT manual.

my scat got delivered with the challenger screen and I told the dealer the bee should be on there and they changed it for me only took them a minute
...lol my dealer apparently didn't get the memo, hence why she's never going there unless she is seriously ill.

I have a 2015 scat pack and it keeps giving me srt and not the bee. Im on the latest tazer. Any ideas why the spash isnt scat pack. I have it set for scat pack
The SRT factory loadout does not include the scat bee so it’s not available unless you turn it SRT mode off.

No, the Tazer does an add themes It only tapped into the functionality that you don’t have access to based on your trim level.

Why do you need to change the Bee setting back when you turn it into the dealership?
You don't need to it's just best to have your car back to stock so a tech can focus on your issue rather than what the TaZer is and what it may be doing... Check your firmware make sure you have the latest version. The ability to change the splash screen is in the latest release(Firmware Version 2.2.5 - 081616). you can check your firmware on the PC or when you scroll through the Menu.

nope, not at this time the SRT pages overwrite the bee.
Dang, that's what I was hoping they could fix. I just ordered the Tazer and I'm gonna use the SRT pages (mainly to get Track Mode for the A8) and I wanted to keep the Bee. Oh well, no bee for me.
well, on the bright side you can switch back and forth, Fun mode and Bee mode! Hopefully a future update will work this out.

im hoping i can get some clarification, I bought a certified used 2016 challenger scat pack from a dodge dealer, and i just saw this video. When i start my car I get the scat bee on my splash screen. Does that mean that the previous owner had a tazer and changed the splash screen and the dealer never flashed it back to factory settings??? wonder if this car had a previous tune and never flashed it back to factory settings.
Early 2015 Scat packs like mine only had the Challenger splash screen.
Your 2016 is a Scat Pack Shaker so you should have the "Shaker" splash screen UNLESS your car came with the Scat Pack appearance group. This can be confirmed by the bee embroidered in the seats, black fuel door, hectic mesh interior. If you have the Scat Pack Appearance group you should have the Bee splash screen
You can also check your window sticker by using Chrysler's VIN tool www.chrysler.com/hostd/windowsticker/getWindowStickerPdf.do?vin= just click the link and add your full VIN number to the end of this URL, then hit enter

You don't need the Tazer plugged in for the bee to continue working BUT! you must un marry the tazer and return your car to the stock settings before you can use the tazer to change settings in another vehicle.

hello, I have a 2019 challenger R/T. I was thinking about putting a hellcat cluster in it. If I purchase this Tazer, will I be able to switch to a hellcat slash screen or other logos, considering its a R/T? Or can I purchase the Tazer & do it with my stock R/T cluster, instead of buying a hellcat cluster. Please let me know. Thanks
For the 2019 you would need to reach out to ZAUTOMOTIVE to confirm. Sorry I don’t have access to the 2019 RT to test.

the first time you plugged in the tazer and went to the splash screen option was it scat or none. I just got the tazer and it said scat but I have never had the bee. The setting from the first time I looked at it was scat. My scat is one of the early ones also but I can't get it to turn on I have tried all the different screens and still only get the Challenger start srceen
After you set it to scat did you turn off the car and leave with the keys for about a minute? I needed to follow those steps to reset the EVIC, then the bee appeared. Sadly I have heard the bee not working for some, if you are one of those people please contact their support on the website,.

the frist time i saw the splash screen in the menu it was already on SCAT. I tried changing it to all of the other options(none shaker and hellcat) each time I would turn off the car and take the FOB out of the cat for 4 or 5 minutes every time it would be the basic challenger start screen even on NONE.
You may need to contact TaZer support to see if your car is one of the models that may not be able to display the bee.
On my 2018 I can’t do it
For some reason, the airbag light comes on, if you put it in SRT mode on a RT. Any ideas why?
This is mentioned in their manual can’t put SRT mode or splash screen on the 15/16 R/T

Will the taser void the warranty on my 2016 Scat Pack charger? My next question why only 275 tires? I'm getting ready to order wheels for my car and I do not want them hitting so I'm ordering the Hellcat replica as that's what was on my car when I got it I have the 20 by 9.5 stock from the factory. 245. I'm thinking seriously about going to Mickey Thompson 305 on the back and I think they're Mickey Thompson 305 45 20 I'm not mistaken as I was told that these would fit on the car with a 25 offset on the Wheel by the way and not have any rub issues. Believe it or not I've only ever jumped on the car to times since owning it and she is my daily driver. I have an automatic I took the rims back off I got tired of racing people on my way 2 work lol and the Rims in due time will mess up my car . One of the reasons I want to get the tazer is because I want that B logo as well
you talking about the 24s? I have to ask how is driving with 24" rims?
they drive pretty good with the rims on, but I'll ask around and see if someone has the tazer because I really want the SRT features
Just keep in mind the Bee will go away once you enable the SRT features because the SRT or Hellcat splash screen is tied to the the SRT load.

Hi, I have a 2016 RT/SCATPAK and I tried all the things that were said in the video, except one thing I found out which was what made it work on my screen; If you have a reboot that comes up in that line of options put it on yes and reboot then it will work. At least it did on mine.
Does this work for a RT charger hemi ? Or does it just work for hellcats and scat packs ?
You can change the splash screen on the R/T just do not enable SRT mode.

My dealership was not, but someone had replied that if you have an earlier Scat Pack the dealer can flash the bee. If you want to flash one of the other options net designed for your car, the TaZer is the only easy way I know of.

the scat bee comes standard on all scat packs at least 2 of friends light up with the scat bee and there cars are stock
It was standard mid 2015, mine was an early 2015 those came with the R/T seats (no bees) and the Challenger logo. :( I wish the TaZer could change the seat logos too...

Yeah man, the TaZer adds a bunch of features and unlocks stuff that's already available in the car. We pretty much have the same car, mine started out without the Shaker. I added the shaker about a year in.

nope, Dodge does not have the scat bee in the SRT load out so when you enable it the Bee is gone.

Did you try track mode and/if so can you feel a difference in sport and track mode
Last Wednesday I popped it into Track Mode for the first time. In the Scat Pack M6 I only had the option to adjust the steering for track. The most noticeable difference was the exhaust. I drive in Sport all the time, the throttle response and steering feels similar to Sport Mode. Possibly a little more aggressive, but it may just be the Butt dyno placebo effect.
