I just wanted to say thank you very much.. as a person who works in marketing and company doesn’t want me to do p&L because they don’t trust anyone .., it’s hard for me to find new jobs since the question of p&L always being asked. I really appreciate it. I know how everything works, but your video helps me to know how to calculate and answer questions
Do you have any recommendatoins on what to read or watch for more in depth break down of a P&L? I studied Food Marketing almost a decade ago and I am just realizing how much I enjoyed my market analysis classes and wanting to get back into it.
Hi thx for the tutorial. Quick question shouldn't you here be calculating again the base discounts on the promo cost to retailer. Anyhow the supplier will be paying it too on the promo cost based on the agreement signed with retailer. If so then the promo contribution profit will drop further less than 30%. Am I right?
Okay, I figured it out. $3.31 is the figure from the EDLP(Everyday low price), less all the discounts of $0.87 SUBTRACTED from $3.31 = $2.44 LESS $1.25 to arrive at $1.19 divided by $3.99 to get 29.8/30% margin.
I have a topic for seminar in clg.....that is. Changing pricing policy of FMCG. But I am unable to collect data for it...from where should I get???? Please help.me..plz

Hi Team, I found a mistake in the vedeo... (Fixed retailer costs on promotion is 6% as it needs to be calculated 3.47 (Exl. GST). Same needs to do with Discretionary trade spend and Promotional contribution / unit. Please let me know if i am wrong ..... Thankyou

Thanks you for the video!!
Brilliant....Can we get a video on how trade promotions schemes are calculated & planned in India?
Thank you. We will evaluate that and see if we have the knowledge and whether a generic video can be made to explain it.
@@FMCGAcademycan you do an online or trade promotion analysis video? That would be good - to understand impact on value volume and cash margin
I dont understand your promotional P+L. $ 2.06 LESS 0.87 means the manufacturer is selling at a loss if his cost is $1.25??
Is this a retail of manufacturer P+L ???
Manufacturer
Why do you take 2% settlement off discount 1, and not discount 2 ?????
You could take it off either depending on your agreement with the retailer.

The video is blurred can’t see the content
Sorry about that, but it could be due to TH-cam in your country or internet speed.

Hello
How to crack fmcg online examination...

15% so GST is $4.25 OMG
No it is $4.35. GST is calculated on the base price not on the RRP of $5.00. So $4.35 x 1.15 = $5.00.
@@FMCGAcademy ok i know. tks
@@FMCGAcademy Can you please explain how you got 1.15 here?
@@abhaymenon2005 15% tax on a base price of $4.35.
