Ah I've caught up. Thanks for the shoutout, I'm a he :) Lets hope this is a positive game. I'm going to comment as I watch see how that goes again. Hmm 5:50 pawn fork. Sounds like you are too focused on YT chess vids (take take take take take) rather than chess tactics :) Are you aware of counting the squares. That d4 square he has 3 attackers, you have 1 defender so putting a pawn on that square just loses the pawn as he has 3 to 1 advantage on that square. Counting control of a square is a good way of thinking about pressure. You've done it other times but not specifically as a rule to follow. You can even use it to your advantage - if you notice hmm you have 2 attackers he has 2 defenders can you remove a defender and win the piece on the square. You got VERY lucky with 20. Nd5 attacking his Queen as it was a free knight. If he had just taken the knight you couldn't take back without losing your Queen. He grabbed the pawn instead of the knight. You could have played 20.h4 and been fine. Nice mate at the end a well played endgame. One tip if you have two pawns connected like that (eg: a5, b4 stepped formation) you DO NOT need to defend them with your king. As he can NEVER take the backward pawn with his king as if he does he's out of the square of your pawn and cannot stop it. eg: a5, b4 he takes b4 you advance to a6, he moves b5 you advance a7 ie: he cannot take the rear pawn in an end game with just kings and pawns. because you can run the other pawn to a queen. You risked stalemate there with your king being so close when it wasn't needed. Otherwise another great win congrats.
sick first win in this one dude, i did not see the checkmate after trading rooks!
yesssirrrrrrrrr
No need to trade bishop trade for knight develop don't use multiple moves on same piece 🧩
true I think sometimes it's good if they double up their pawns but for the most part yes you are correct
