    Chris, I love the sound of the car both idle and in motion. That's exactly what I'm looking for and don't want to upset the neighbours :). Thank you for the amazing content. My magnetite grey 2021 STI will be arriving in October, 100%. It's the soonest it can arrive to Ottawa, Canada. Long wait, but I'll wait longer for the color I really want. I'll continue following your content during the wait and start ordering things now once I map out my plan/goals.

I noticed that 2nd gear in particular and the shift felt a little stiff and have to keep my hand down on it for a second. Until around 600 km ( 370 miles) everything feels butter smooth now. Congrats on the STI! A lot of fun.

    Your reasons for liking the Cobb exhaust are very similar to mine for getting the Invidia Q300. I'm 49 and love to drive... but I also appreciate a wee bit of... comfort? I mean, sure - the STi isn't a luxury car by any stretch, but I didn't want to do anything that made it unenjoyable. In fact, I was *thinking* about trading the STi for an Outback Wilderness until I got the Q300. Just hearing the deep burble brings a smile to my face. No need to justify your choice to anyone but yourself. Nice vid!

    Couple things as I’m also an exhaust nutbag. I have had 2 AWE catbacks with one being for a 435 years ago and it was just ok. Then I got one for the Supra last year and it came in dented in like 3 pieces and I actually just returned it as tte first exhaust had packing issues also. Another thing is it’s kind of ugly, the welds and the pipe and doesn’t look too good after some miles on it.
    Lastly it’s funny seeing the R400 in so many comments. It’s like the most traded catback on Nasioc for being too loud and or extreme drone. I have no idea what I’m gonna get, maybe some JDM brand or OG like TurboXS.

  • @maverick2242
    @maverick2242 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I wouldn’t call it a gentleman’s exhaust, it’s a legal street exhaust, many others are just drawing more and more attention in a society with zero tolerance for our type of cars, for track many setups are great, but if we want to keep these cars around, have them on the street for longer, then we need to grow up a bit, I feel many esp in the youtube community are hurting our future with having cars like ours on the road at all..
    Just my pov, don’t ruin it for everyone, use a cat, do it right if it’s a daily and a street car. easy.
    Love the Cobb and KB header combo, myself. 🤙

After hearing one about a month ago, it was at the top of my list for an exhaust. Funny enough, Cobb wasn't until I heard it on your car. Lol. What I like about the Cobb exhaust is it has a sport tuned sound if that makes sense. It purrs and growls when you want it.
